Thank you Fibro Action!
I have Fibro, osteoarthritis, pernicious anaemia, low vitamin d, anklyosing spondylosis, cervical spondylosis, migraine, plantar
fasciitis
, and permanent tendonitis in my ankle - this all means I am in severe pain every step I take as it comes from my foot all the way to my head.

Half marathon - doable or foolhardy?
Then came the heat of summer, follow hot on its heels by a foot injury (Plantar
Fasciitis
) in October, both of which have curtailed my mileage since. I am now back running 5K+ 3/4 times per week and the foot, although not yet 100%, is coping fine and continues to improve.

Is Plantar Fasciitis another symptom of Fibromyalgia?
I have just been diagnosed with plantar
fasciitis
in my right foot. The physiotherapist has given me exercises to help and my doctor has prescribed Naproxen pain killers. Does anyone know if this a separate condition or is it part of the vast number of Fibromyalgia symptoms? Thanks xxx :)

Think i may be fibro and considering giving up struggling to work at 30yrs. Help!!!
After a year and a half i went to my gp. i was diagnosed plantar
fasciitis
. This is commonly called policemans heel or fallen arches. This is painful because the achilles tendon pulls on the arch or plantar fascia, in turn causing pain in the heel.

A rant
So I've been rebooked for three weeks time so then they will decide whether to give me injections for plantar
fasciitis
(that I really don't think I have!!!! As the symptoms don't fit the criteria at all)!! It's so frustrating.

Started week 9 again, first run down!
I did this run 2 weeks ago but a holiday and some treatment for my plantar
fasciitis
got in the way of finishing the week, so my aim is to do the full three runs this week, my Christmas present to myself will be my graduation badge!

Hmm, week 9 didn't go quite to plan! About to try again...
Unfortunately too much walking played havoc with my planter
fasciitis
. I had a cortisone injection in my heel two days ago (be prepared for pain!) it seems to have settled down enough to resume week 9 which at the very least I think I should start from the beginning!

Plantar Fasciitis - whether to run or not?
Anyone out there who's also suffered with this who can give me some advice on managing it? I developed PF 6 weeks ago and since then, I've stretched, rollered, iced, rested with very little improvement. I started with physio last week, from which I've yet to see any benefit (early days, I know). When

Is it OK to increase Levo from 50 to 75 with these readings?
I don't feel too bad at all, not tired or low but my wretched Plantar
Fasciitis
has returned and it is really getting me down. I haven't had it for several months so wonder if it could be the colder weather and maybe a slight increase in my Levo would help?

Plantar fasciitis?
On Friday I completed a 16k sponsored walk with the school I work at, and then, on Sunday, I ran a tempo 5k with no apparent after effects. This morning, when I got up, I immediately noticed a tender spot on the sole of my foot - feels a bit like I've stepped on a sharp stone as if it's bruised. Having

Back for a second go
Hi everyone, I started C25K early 2013, was doing great - and great support from all my C25K buddies here - my aim was to complete this before my 50th birthday, week 5 had a very sore hip, got new shoes, got to week 8, then had plantar
fasciitis
- (very painful sore foot/heel for those who have avoided

Finished week 3! Planter fasciitis notwithstanding!
Hi everyone, thanks for your encouraging posts yesterday. I was cross with myself, it was raining, foot hurt, reverted to pre C25K behaviour of opening bottle of wine and retreating to the sofa instead of doing my planned run. Although it did give me time to do lots of "work" on the PF, it's a demanding

In need of some encouragement
I am suffering from Planter
Fasciitis
in left foot which makes my heel very painful so basically hobbled through the run. I don't want it to stop me from carrying on though as PF is made wrose by being over weight which is one of my main reasons for doing C25K.

When can I run with posterior tibial tendonitis?
I thought wrongly that it was plantar
fasciitis
. I have had a steroid injection in my big toe joint and am waiting for some custom orthotic inserts. When can I begin running again? I was up to week 8 of c25k for the second time when the pain began with intensity.

LEG PAIN RELIEF
I was diagnosed recently with Plantar
Fasciitis
which is basically heel pain and was given exercises by my doctor to help this. These exercises consisted of stretches for calves, achiles tendon and plantar fascia.

Is anyone else dealing with plantar fasciitis in either or both feet along with PD?
The ailment involves inflammation of the tissues connecting heel to toes and comes across as sharp pain, usually in the heel. The result is less or slower movement which encourages the development of the Parkinson's Shuffle and the posture and other problems that go with it. Medical info says it usually

Has anyone noticed an increase in broken and unsightly veins since diagnosis of RA?
I was at my GP today and she suspects Plantar
Fasciitis
to be the issue with my poor feet so now have referral to podiatrist, yippee! I may get a change of shoes from my Hotter Easy's which is all I have been able to wear for weeks.
