1st blood results: advice please?
I'm a 42 yo woman, about 50lbs overweight (although I also have an eating disorder so that doesn't help); I have chronic plantar
fasciitis
which is debilitating, fatigue, panic and anxiety symptoms, hypersensitivity to perfumes and smells, scanty periods and a tendency to get overwhelmed very easily.

AARGH!
Not wanting to even think about the dreaded plantar
fasciitis
, I googled foot pain and quite quickly got to heel pain and then to plantar
fasciitis
... 'Most cases of heel pain resolve within a year with exercise and stretching' the NHS Choices website tells me.

Trying to stay positive
I've had a couple of nice cycle rides and have been trying to read up on what the problem might be: obviously plantar
fasciitis
is a strong possibility, although the symptoms don't quite fit that; a stress fracture to the calcaneous bone is another.... but with the pain getting worse, it's a bit difficult

Plantar fasciitis!! :-(
Hi all, I'm really upset as I think I have managed to get the above. Managed all through the programme with no injuries at all and now I've got a bit cocky and over done it. I stopped bothering with a warm up walk and I also tried to up my speed too much I think on a downhill part of my run. Didn't feel

We all know the saying 'God helps those that help themselves' well its so true cos the NHS don't!!!
I've been suffering from Plantar
Fasciitis
for months now and have paid over £400 on private treatment which admittedly the Acupuncture helped ease the pain but has not cured it.

It wasn't the dreaded plantar fasciitis after all!
Anyway, fed up with this and not sure my symptoms added up to the dreaded plantar
fasciitis
, i went to see a podiatrist.

Plantar Fasciitis > Acupuncture update
Have been for my third session of acupuncture today and it really seems to be working. I've had one week of pain free too. Been wearing my sleeping splint in bed as well and although it took me a couple of nights to get used to it I'm finding that I don't get out of bed to be met by excruciating pain

Jogging out of the shadows ......
This is my third attempt at completing C25K, having been dogged by Plantar
Fasciitis
2 summers ago, and losing the will to run last autumn. I finally joined a gym in December and continued running (once or twice a week) on a treadmill.

Plantar Fasciitis sufferers comments appreciated
So I've been off running and all high impact exercise for over 4 weeks which to say has been frustrating would be a gross understatement. Its meant I've not been able to run, no badminton, no zumba classes, no synergy 360 Circuits. I've had 4 sessions with Sports Physio and loads of rest. So on Friday

Not sure if I am now over medicated??
I was suffering from Plantar
Fasciitis
and generally felt rubbish plus having terrible stomach problems even though I had given up Gluten some months before. I increased medication, with my docs blessing, in December/January from 50 to 75.

Has anyone else got a Bakers Cyst?
I had Achilles tendinitis in the same leg some time back that required a decompression anterior compartment syndrome and have had plantar
fasciitis
in that foot too.

Recovery time for minor(!) foot operation?
I'm having a saddlebone deformity removed and plantar
fasciitis
injections in right foot, and metalwork removed from big toe from previous op on left foot. Any idea when I'll be able to walk again? As I can't use crutches. Thanks

Severe exercise intolerance...........followed by barely being able to walk because of pain.
Anyway about an hour later my feet started hurting badly and I thought...yep here comes the plantar
fasciitis
! Anyway by last night I was so crippled with pain that i could barely walk. Infact my husband had to help me as I couldn't walk unaided.

Protectio, prevention better than cure
so anyway my question, is in the past I've suffered with knee and plantar
fasciitis
, I have good shoes and supports for my feet, but what can I get that will help support my knees?? If anything , I'm thinking prevention is better than cure.
