I feel much better for combining the two but my weight is still intransigently high and this is causing problems with other things like general capacity to
exercise
/stay fit etc. Not to mention long term effects down the line. Please could someone who knows tell me if I am in balance?

Another 10K in the bag!
If I notice that my pace is slow then I try and speed up, which is not the purpose of the
exercise
. I also have the km notifications turned off on my watch for the same reason. I start slowly.

BAT trial update
The main side effects have been fatigue for a week or so after the chemo infusion but in the last few weeks my usual modest
exercise
has me breathless and in the 9 weeks since I commenced my weight has increased by around 4 kilograms.

HBP diagnosed Jan2023. On 5mg Amlodipine. Good response within few months; controlled BP @120/75-130/85 (as at May2024)
Exercise
resolves that within a day. I avoid sitting at a desk. I had a hip replacement in July and had to stop the 5mg due to low BP after the op / effect of anesthetic. Went back on 5mg after 7 days off as I have hypertension without meds.

beautiful morning for a run
I’d promised my son I’d drop him off at the gym again for some gentle
exercise
( now that he is allowed to again) this morning so I parked up outside, gave him my car keys and my headphones case, and went off for my run.

Hand grip training for lowering blood pressure?
Nobody has spoken to me about this lifestyle/
exercise
approach. It seems to be a relatively new finding, so maybe the information hasn’t filtered through yet. Does anyone know more about this please?

Why all going wrong always with me 😭
Did one hour of walking and light
exercise
, As I read this some where. Inspite of asking for Estrogen supplements and blood clotting medicine, they denied prescribing it to me. They said this will be modified FET and no medication expect the progesterone pressure.

A little update
I tried diet,
exercise
, ensuring my vitamins were good. All of it. Last year my final throw of the dice was to start TRT - Testosterone Replacement Therapy. It had zero positive effect but had the side effects of giving me terrible sleep, sweating profusely at night.

Fellow gym goers during FET…
I’m a regular gym goer and teach classes at a gym too, but recently I’m finding
exercise
so hard and really suffering with a sore lower back and hips which is unusual for me. Convinced that the hormones are having an effect. Is that a thing?!

Well begun but then...
To be honest, I feel just doing the W1
exercise
regularly for a while would be good enough
exercise
compared to what I've done in recent years, but I would like to progress eventually!

My brain went shopping today - almost
I let some time pass, let some anger subside, went outside for some sun and
exercise
, treated myself to some coffee, said a couple prayers and gave thanks for some good stuff I am fortunate to have and decided not to go into the store or make any purchases today. I feel better at the moment.

Taken off blood pressure tablets following a TIA
She was told that she needed to get her blood pressure down to normal levels, to
exercise
and to change her diet. That is all well and good but how does she get her blood pressure down if she is not on blood pressure tablets and she is feeling too unfit just to suddenly start exercising.

I’ve been reading about long-term strategies for reducing episodes through diet,
exercise
, etc.. But, any suggestions on what to do during the episode? Should I be lying down and avoiding
exercise
or should I be carrying on with my usual activities as long as they are not too strenuous?
