Diffuser and essential oils
Hi all, These might not work for everyone but they do for me. I got some Frankincense essential oil last year as I read it is good at healing/helping with brain injuries. It has helped with my injury and that was by inhaling it straight from the bottle. I have now got a diffuser and that makes me

borage oil
Has anyone tried Borage oil in larger doses foe the cysts? I've read it helped someone get rid of the painful cysts. Others tried Primrose oil and swear it reduces the excrutiatingly painful periods in women with endo. Has anyone had any experience with these two supplements?

So Far, So Good.
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Xmas. I only joined this group recently after finding it in the net last week. Although it was sad to read how badly people were suffering, it was also a relief to read that I'm not crazy! My story is similar to most. I'm 34, and my RLS started when I was in my

Spots on chin
Hi - I have been off the pill for two years now and still get constant spots on my chin. I have read about it potentially being dairy related / hormonal. I take evening primrose oil and use products which are a mixture of own brand sensitive skin and elemis sensitive skin. I want to get to the bottom

Sleep
Feel a bit guilty today, I slept until 8:45, my Hub and Daughter was so quite this morning and let me sleep in. I haven't slept this late for I don't know how long, but I do like to see my Daughter before she goes to school, so waiting for break time to face time her. These fish oil tabs must be working

Fed up!
I'm 20, I've had Endo for 5 years but only got it diagnosed when I had a Laparoscopy done this October. I've had a constant battle with doctors to get help. To start off with they were adamant that my symptoms were Gastro not Gynae related no matter how much I told them otherwise. They dictated to me

Vitamin D defficiency
I was told a couple of months ago by my GP that I had a Vitamin D deficiency and was put on Fultium D 800 IU capsules. I had a call today from my surgery with a message from my Doctor. The message was "I should stop the Fultium capsules and instead use full fat milk, eggs, oily fish and fish oil capsules

Newbie - In need of help
Hi Just discovered this forum and finding it useful and comforting. I haven't yet had my referral to the Rheumatologist and wondered how long it takes on average? My symptoms have suddenly become much worse ( just in time for Christmas and I am self employed) and I am struggling with the stiffness

Are supplements causing a reaction?
Hi I am taking the following Jarrows supplements: B-Right, Methyl Folate & Methyl B12 together with calcium, magnesium, zinc, biotin, COD liver oil with A & D vits. I also take propranolol for migraines. The Jarrows items have only been added in the last month. Has anyone experienced an all over rash

dry eye relief
hi there i have had dry eye quite badly but only in my left eye. I tried the various drops but none helped. An ophthalmologist inserted a punctal plug which did help for a few months but then fell out.A larger one was inserted but did not provide any relief. I consulted a Chinese herbalist in desperation

Only half of blood test results
After being diagnosed borderline hypo , getting horrendous symptoms, and after a lot of faffing about back and forward from the GP and insisting on referral to an Endo, I started taking 25mg levo in July, then upped to 50mg from Sept on advice of Endo and he said to have a further blood test 3 months

Update on my alternative therapies
I wrote a long post yesterday but it appears not to have posted successfully, so forgive me if this turns out to be a duplication. PMR: I have had my fourth low level light treatment. The physiotherapist says the muscles in my back are more relaxed than they were when I started, and certainly my back

Fish oil
I recently posted that I was concerned about fish oil because it had DHA. It seems that was only 1 or 2 studies and the bulk of the evidence is strongly in favor of fish oil and DHA. For comparison, there is almost no evidence for coconut oil. There is a good chance fish oil is the most important
