borage oil

Has anyone tried Borage oil in larger doses foe the cysts? I've read it helped someone get rid of the painful cysts. Others tried Primrose oil and swear it reduces the excrutiatingly painful periods in women with endo. Has anyone had any experience with these two supplements?

Hi, I've been using borage oil for at least 2 years now. I had stage 4 which had spread to quite a few areas. I never found that taking borage oil helped with the pain from endo. What I have found it useful for is balancing my hormones so that I don't get so crazy lol

Also I was on postap for about 10 months and the borage oil really helped keep the possible symptoms at bay and I didn't have any problems with night sweats or hot flushes for example.

Borage oil has more of the active ingredient (gamma linoleic acid) then primrose oil so out of the two I would vote for borage oil
