Treatment and TLS and neutropenic sepsis
Hi , happy Easter to the CLL community Can anyone offer any advise on the chances of TLS and neutropenic sepsis with V and O treatment? Are they rare or common with this treatment and how serious can they be? my consultant seems to think I am low risk for the TLS, but the sepsis seems to be bigger

FET & Acupuncture
Hoping for some advice on acupuncture on FET day. This is my second round of IVF following a failed first round and previous miscarriage at 8 weeks (following 3 years TTC & laproscopy). I have endo & rheumatoid arthritis and have been trying to throw everything at this round as it is our last with NHS

How to find a good cognitive behavioural therapist?
My tinnitus having got significantly worse recently, I'm keen to try cognitive behavioural therapy but am having trouble identifying a suitable therapist. There appear to be dozens of qualified therapists in my region (north Oxfordshire) but none list tinnitus as something they treat. Any suggestions

Big thank you and things that help
There's a few things that have really helped me get on with life regardless of worry about AF and its symptoms. First it has to be this forum which has taught me there's a lot of people much worse off than myself who are always willing to offer support, advice and companionship which is just hugely heart

unilateral hearing loss
I’m a 24year old girl who noticed hearing issues from at least a few years ago. I put it off due to covid and fear that Im too young to have any problems with hearing. 6 weeks ago I took the plunge and had a hearing test and my left ear is severe-profound hearing loss and my right is massively compensating

Waiting for CT scan results
Hi I had a very painful ear infection and vertigo in January 23 and lost my hearing in my right ear then had another ear infection in Feb. I had multiple courses of antibiotics. I was given an emergency appointment at ENT casulty because the GP said she couldn't see inside my ear. ENT said I had a fungal

Update with some pleasant news! I think? and a question
I went to my rheumy yesterday and was supposed to be at 5mg. I am just beginning the taper for 7.5mg. Needless to say she was not happy. She had to push the issue because; "my GP doesn't like it that I am still on the pred." I thought that was curious because the only reason he even got involved was

Neuro-ophthalmology following BI
Has anyone on here gone on to discover that neuro-ophthalmology helped following BI? As well as pretty constant tinnitus, I also suffer an awful awful sinus headache that suddenly comes on, all on the left side - this time it has turned into vertigo. I’ve read that all 3 of these symptoms may suggest

What role should a Primary Care Provider have for MPN patients?
What role should a primary care provider provide for patients with MPN's? Obviously a PCP would address other health conditions that arise, but to what extent should a PCP be involved in tracking MPN patient symptoms or blood counts? My MPN specialist orders monthly lab work to track my counts, prescribes

Endometriosis and tooth problems
Hello, I was diagnosed with endo in 2012 and I've had 4 laposcopys, a mirena coil fitted and removal of my left tube and ovary. Since then I've been put on 3 rounds of decapeptyl injections each month, (9 months on and 6 months off) over 4 years and I was only given HRT for my last round of the injections

Hearing aides that actually help with tinnitus?
Hello, I have had hearing loss and tinnitus-for approximately 10-15 years. Does anyone know of any hearing aides that help in blocking tinnitus? I had hearing tests & a brain scan as my hearing deteriorated reasonably quickly. I had national health hearing aides but they just made me notice my tinnitus

Strange sounds 10 years post-op
Ive had vestibular schwannoma /acoustic neuroma removed in January 2013. Until now tinnitus has always been there but suddenly more persists and occasionally the whooshing sounds. I had a scan 1 year ago which gave the all clear but these sounds are causing a lot of stress Any similar examples.. please

Is tinnitus seen as having hearing loss.
Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone in the forum uses hearing aids for Tinnitus, or bilateral tinnitus. And would using such hearing aids be classed as an aid like as if someone has hearing loss. Thanks

It Is NOT just Prednisolone
I have just posted this on another thread. How our bodies and muscles in particular, react to this drug is critical to the way we need to address dosage and approach. Here is my take on how this condition moulds us and progresses. Confusing symptoms occur and they are similar to many conditions so
