Waiting for CT scan results

Hi I had a very painful ear infection and vertigo in January 23 and lost my hearing in my right ear then had another ear infection in Feb. I had multiple courses of antibiotics. I was given an emergency appointment at ENT casulty because the GP said she couldn't see inside my ear. ENT said I had a fungal infection and prescribed more antibiotics drops. I returned to my GP because I still cannot hear and the tinnitus is getting worse particularly when I am in an area where there are other noises either people or outside and it makes communicating and concentrating difficult. My GP referred me back to ENT hospital clinic as urgent and organised a CT scan which I had on 27th March. I rang the hospital to ask about my appointment as it is a month since it was requested and they have downgraded my referral and said it will get 9 to 10 months before I get an appointment. Hopefully I will get the results of the CT scan soon. I also have an equeduct stenosis which causes me to have Hydrocephalus. I wondered if anyone has been diagnosed with an accoustic neuroma after becoming deaf following an ear infection and vertigo. Thank you
