Finger misbehaving (!) ...Ulnar Deviation
Hello, I recently noticed my middle finger has gone bent towards the pinky finger. I couldn't believe my eyes and did internet search. It happens to people with RA and Lupus. A bit shocking. I have been doing mild squeezing exercise daily to help increase my hand strength. I think it may be due to

Acupuncture and CLL?
Hi , everyone, I'm interested to hear if anyone has tried acupuncture while on treatment for CLL (specifically while on Acalabrutinib)? I'd love for my husband - who takes Calquence - to try it as a stress reliever and general wellness support, but wasn't sure if there were any contraindications for

Acupuncture and Hot Flashes
Throughout my life as an athlete, I have always worked out and continue to do so. I have also always tended to run hot and sweat a lot. I am now 15 months into ADT and hot flashes have been epic. Every 1 to 2 hours - full body flop sweats for 3-5 minutes. I have gone to wearing black shirts so it

My tinnitus story so far (9 months and counting)
Here's my story so far, for if it helps anybody. Please comment if it relates to you in any way.
Day 1 - The start
I was at the office and I heard a weird roaring sound in my left ear. I went to the bathroom, held my nose and blew to relieve pressure like on a plane, but it was obvious this

I was diagnosed with GPA in 2017, I have had 3 flares since initial diagnosis and although the symptoms have got milder each time, I always have the same symptoms - pain and loss of hearing in my ear, discomfort and blood in my nose, pain and stiffness in my finger joints and extreme fatigue. I regularly

Horizant tapering
Dear All: Apologies- I might be unintentionally reposting this: I have been on Horizant for about seven months, at 600mg in the morning and 600mg in the evening (1,200 mg total). Before that, I was on 600mg Gabapentin daily for two years. Recently, my doctor and I have agreed to reduce my Horizant

Azithromycin
Does anyone else take Azithromycin 3 times a week prophylactic? Just wondering if you have to take your rescue antibiotics due to chest infection, do you stop the Azithromycin?

Why does everyone seem to have permanent tinnitus here?
What is the cause of permanent tinnitus? This is so worrying, as my tinnitus started this month due to ear canal infection. Would this be permanent? I have been prescribed otomize. Would that be helpful?

my story begins with my left hip replacement over two years ago and virtually started having symptoms afterwards primarily a very slight tremor in my left hand . I tried chiropractors, Acupuncture, and eventually went to a neurologist and received a Parkinson‘s diagnosis. I am on C/L and have been researching

A good nights sleep
I think every body will agree that whenever we first get tinnitus fear and terror runs through our veins and the one thing it effects is our sleep, i remember my first few months and especially the first few weeks i was so scared i would keep getting out of bed, walking round going in to the garden ,

Problems with medication supplies
Hi. Since I recently swapped to home deliveries for medication, every 4 weeks some meds are missing or out of stock.I didn't have this problem when I ordered directly from the GP, changed over because I was struggling to get into town to collect my prescriptions. The messages from Lloyds Pharmacy says

Migraine and visual hallucinations
I’ve suffered with migraines for many years since I was about 11 (I’m 35 now). Anyway as I’ve gotten older they’ve thankfully become less frequent and severe (though I take propranalol to prevent). I had an attack begin late last night with my usual blind spots and visual disturbance. It was bed time

Not sure what to do next
Hello. I suddenly developed loud tinnitus in my left ear 3 months ago and went to the doctors. It's a very high pitched ringing and varies between loud and very loud and sometimes has different pitches all at once like an orchestra. It's constant, 24/7. I'd had a very slight ringing for several months

Very noisy ears and pressure
Hi - I have been diagnosed with TMJD - I have Tinnitus mostly in the right ear, but every so often I have ghastly whooshing in both ears very noisy and a feeling of pressure , is this possibly stress anxiety related? Or the TMJD effecting the ETs - I know it's a highly complex area, I have had this T
