Hi ladies and gents, the last 6 months I’ve been suffering nose blocked every nights. In March I had a dose of amoxicillin and a steroid nasal spray, which help a bit. But the last 6 months I’ve been having constant blocked nose at night especially. The only helping to unblocked my nose is the Sudafed

Tinnitus after microsuctioning
Hi there. I'm a recent tinnitus sufferer, having been struggling to cope with it for just over a week. Am REALLY hoping this is a temporary affliction, but the more I read, the more I see it can easily be permanent. Which doesn't help with the stress! So, the brief history: Had both my ears microsuctioned

I have always been OK with taking anti-coagulants, until Saturday that is. A few years ago I had what I thought was an ear infection. Turned out to be MRSA. Since then I have regular 3 monthly check up`s and ear suctioning as I have something called cholestoma. (Excuse spelling). Saturday I went to the

Article: Drugs or non-drug alternatives: how should we treat chronic primary pain in the UK?
Hi Members, Here's an excerpt with a quote from Des Quinn, Chair of Fibromyalgia Action UK (FMAUK) and from Pain Concern board of trustees chairman Dr Marin Dunbar. Has anyone had problems with TMJ since being diagnosed with GCA? Still no confirmation of PMR/GCA, but my appointment with Rheumatologist re scheduled for next Wednesday. Pain came on suddenly, but no problems chewing, temporal artery not occluded. beginning to wonder what is coming next.

This is going to seem like a silly question.....
I have never suffered with ear problems until the last few years when wax build up and subsequent ear blockage has neccessitated me privately paying for microsuction approximately every 2-3 months. I do have very narrow ear canals which doesnt help matters. Along with this about six months before I

My tinnitus journey continues
Hi guys I’m writing this in need of a bit of guidance and advice. When my tinnitus first started due to loud music and machine use at work (gardening) it was absolutely horrendous. The volume was incredible, left ear buzzing, unable to think or read and when people spoke to me it was hard to even hear

Hello. I was diagnosed earlier this yr with a 6mm tumour after I was advised to have an MRI due to ringing in my ear. 6 months later my second MRI has shown an increase in the size to 8mm. My Dr says we should just 'watch and wait' and do another MRI in 6 months. My question is has anyone tried

Hi, After having my heart bypass in Feb and having back and shoulder pain since it was diagnosed today as Scapular dyskinesis. Hello :)
Hello all, I am new here and wanted to say hi. I had an undiagnosed heart issue a few months back that felt like a heart attack. After getting surgery I started to have increased anxiety and hypochondria. I have usually taken Xanax for the anxiety but my doctor didn't want me taking it every day so

AF Triggers
Morning, Can exercise trigger AF? Just recently reduced Bisoprolol due to it draining my energy and have been building back my exercise. Yesterday, I took a longer walk of 4000 steps and slammed into AF a few hours later and the arrhythmia continues as I write. Also, has anyone experienced dizziness

Tinnitus cause??
Hi guys, I’ve had tinnitus for about two and half years now, since I was 18. I’ve learned to cope with it, but I’m just desperate to know what caused it. At the time the doctor told me I had compact ear wax likely from a recent ear infection. I was told to use olive oil ear drops for two weeks, after

Feeling sick on Luvox (fluvoxamine)
I've been on Luvox for a week (25mg) and I don't know if it's normal, but I kinda feel physically unwell on it? I'm aware that there are side effects to antidepressants, but it's kinda freaking me out. I feel nauseous and light-headed (I need to either sit or just lie down before the feeling passes).

Acupuncture or Reflexology for IVF?
I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) to start IVF in Jan now. I've been meditating for a while and have heard/read that acupuncture and reflexology can also help. The thing is I'm not sure I can afford both depending on how regularly I'd need to have them. To be honest the thought of having my feet massaged
