Med Change update, Lexapro

Had appoint with Dr. He increased the Lex to 20mg a day and Seroquel to 50mg at night to help me sleep. He also discontinued the gabapentin. He was very supportive and spent a half hour with me which most Psych Dr's don't. He wants me to have my thyroid checked for the increased sweating, could also be a side effect of the Lex. Earliest apt with primary is March 20. I feel good to know that we are moving in the correct direction. I have also returned to my acupuncture treatments which I think are very helpful as well. I want to thank all of you who took the time to reply and support me though this process. I am accepting the fact that this may be a ride and I hope that my family and friends can continue to support me as well. I know I am not in this alone. Thanks for the update. I’m hoping the med changes will bring you some relief. Good that you have appt with PC doc for lab work. My psychiatrist just increased my dosage of Lexapro to 20mg 3 weeks ago. I have noticed a difference in how I feel. Much better.

Hope the med change helps you!! Glad your doctor is thinking past just thec psych meds and wanting you to have lab work done.
