Insertional Achilles tendinitis
Has anyone got/had this and any stories of recovery and what worked? I've not run since last July when I felt a niggle in my ankle which then developed into pain when first getting out of bed, moving around and driving. I went to the see a MSK podiatrist for some inserts, he did a quick exam and ultrasound

Hi all Wondering what's everyone's diet like in 2ww? I keep hearing different opinions. My clinic advocates balanced diet. My acupuncturist recommends high protein. What about yours?

intralipids or steroids for final embryo!
hello, looking for some advice. We are having our final embryo transferred in April. We are going to introduce blood thinning injections, steroids and or possibly intralipids. However this is an NHS round so we are only allowed to add these in on a self funded basis after transfer. Just wondered if anyone

Going back for another round of acupuncture treatment for anxiety.
After getting quite a bit of relief from just ONE treatment, I am very happy to be going back for another round today.....I am so impressed by this. It is definitely a tool. I am also taking 300mg. of gabapentin at night, to help with rest, and it does seem to be helping. I have read online articles

Acupressure for AF
I've been having some good results recently at calming bouts of AF using acupressure on the nei guan/PC6 acupuncture point. Doesn't work every time, but it works often enough to convince me to keep using it every day as a preventative measure. There are a few studies online re the efficacy or not

Preparing for FET
Hi ladies. I'm preparing for my first FET. I have a lot of emotions right now as I don't know what to expect. I have gone through numerous failed IVF procedures where the quality of my eggs haven't been good enough to make embryos so my partner and I decided on donor eggs. We were very fortunate in finding

Recap on Intense pain post
I’ve had a CT in Fall of 2019 indicating a couple of bulging discs. Spinal stenosis, s curve scoliosis. I’ve tried chiropractic treatments as well as acupuncture, acupressure and meditate several times a day. I’ve been cautioned by my primary care physician who has a DO ( osteopathic medical degree).

Acupuncture Questions
Hello everyone, Could you help me with a couple of acupuncture questions please? 1. Has anybody had acupuncture for achilles tendon problems and if so, did it help? 2. If acupuncture has helped anybody (with any issues), was it a temporary fix requiring regular acupunture sessions going forward

I need some advice on alcohol/next FET
hello all, so I need some advice. Today is Thursday and I am on day 1 of my natural FET cycle. On Saturday my partner and I went round to our neighbours for dinner. I brought a bottle of Prosecco for us to share as a ‘last hurrah’ before the new cycle starts. Anyway, we finished the bottle and I was

Hi, I have a long standing history of bouts of chronic tension headaches and am now in another bout. Changes
What did you change in the lead up to your IVF cycle? I'm due to start stims in a few weeks - I already take all the supplements required (have been for months now), I have acupuncture every fortnight, reflexology the weeks in between. I have two daily cups of coffee, the rest decaf. I am a natural

Who got a bit crazy during infertility? xD
Sometimes I am surprised how years of infertility turned me a bit crazy 🤪 IVF was our last option to try. I was promising myself with this (fourth) transfer - no weird things, research, etc. And here I am ordered myself Tarot fertility reading! 🙈 I wish I could say it was my first one... and as weird
