Yawning so much! 🥱
Hello all, Quick question for you to help with if possible. Why, oh why do I yawn 🥱 upon doing any exercise? My Wk 1 R2 run was interspersed with so many yawns! But then I remembered I yawn if I ever go for a walk with steep inclines and yawn when I climb the hospital stairs at work. I do

Light headed.
A couple of times this week I have felt light-headed for a few minutes. I do have AF. I take Warfarin and Bisoprolol. I usually feel well. I wonder is this with having AF? I haven't experienced this before. My AF was diagnosed about 4 years ago.

Pulsatile Tinnitus and Hypertension
Hi,Anyone else suffering from pulsatile tinnitus and high BP? I'm currently waiting ENT and CT scan for further investigation. I'm struggling to sleep at night when the tinnitus is really loud, tried headphones, but can't sleep with the noises playing in my ear.

Is this a breakthrough - I'm going to try it ASAP
Hi All, I have had various levels of Tinnitus for a number of years, over the last few weeks it has got worse and louder so I did some more research. https://www.otologie.com/about-lenire/ This looks promising, will get a hearing test tomorrow and then either do an online consultation or pop over

Low mood
Hi all. I've been suffering with tinnitus, hearing loss and vertigo for almost a year now, and awaiting an ENT appointment. Although I cope reasonably well I have been experiencing low mood recently, which I think is related to these conditions and the feelings of anxiety and isolation and frustration

Thoughts on embryo quality
Hi, I hope everyone is keeping well. I’ve just finished my 2nd cycle of a 3 cycle package and have a couple of things I’d appreciate you lovely people’s thoughts on. 1. I have 11 frozen embryos of varying quality. Which obviously I’m hugely thankful that I even got 1 as I know it only takes that special

Another bisoprolol query
I take 2.5 mg of bisoprolol daily and in normal sinus rhythm a steady heart beat of 65 bpm. I've had three 40+ hour episodes of AF so far this year and was admitted to A & E during last episode. I had increased bisoprolol dose to 3.75 twice a day while in AF . The doctor in Same Day Emergency Care

Ear Wax - increase since PMR
Since diagnosis of PMR (and prednisolone) in Jan 2020, actually about a year into this condition, I’ve developed far more ear wax issues and have to use medicinal grade olive oil to soften to help removal. It’s a damn nuisance. Anyone else noticed similar? It’s a long shot, but any link to inflammation

Is this PMR?
Hello I'm new to this site and to the world of PMR. Hoping to get some guidance from this lovely community. My GP has diagnosed me with PMR at 42 and I'm not entirely convinced as I don't fit the symptoms of aches and stiffness in the shoulders and hips. This all started in March 23 where I woke

Hello, new here looking for guidance
Hello I've lurked for a couple of months, but this is my first post, I've seen that you are a friendly and supportive bunch, and whilst it breaks my heart that I'm joining your "club" at least I feel I won't be judged. I'm a 60yr old woman and I've had a strange sensation for years and years of suddenly

Possible eardrum perforation?
So I had a friend to send me this photo. She has a digital otoscope that shows the image on her phone. She started with intermittent ear pain, feeling of fullness in her ear, mild hearing loss. She asked if I thought her eardrum was ruptured. I'd say yes, but I wanted some other opinions.

Flare or not
Another question, as I always find the answers from this forum are a great help to me as I know nobody diagnosed with PMR. I wrote a question about 1 month ago.I am trying to reduce my prednisolone dose ready for an abdominal operation in the future. I was down to 4 mg {having reduced by .5mg every 3

Atrial natriuretic peptide
So I went on a bit of an adventure. My last episode, while again still thankfully not as intense as previous episodes, had an interesting twist that I hadn't really noticed before. I had to pee 6 times in the space of an hour. So I went searching on the internet as we do, and I learned about atrial

Symptom changes
I would be interested to see if any one has experienced symptom changes from when they first had/diagnosed with RLS . Initially, my RLS was the classic, constantly having to move my legs during the night while sleeping or resting. Even sitting in a chair, for long periods of time ( aeroplane, cinema)
