Week 5 Run 3 problems....
On a somewhat separate note, my running partner is far more capable of running that I; she seems to have a natural affinity for it while I am better at

W2: OH bought me new shoes!
This is a big deal as he doesn’t buy gifts 😂 He’s obviously quite keen for me to catch the bug as he’s primarily into
cycling
but does run for convenience at times. I’ve always scoffed but here I am, running my demons out the door and feeling very proud of completing five runs so far.

Cycling
, swimming, and yoga are the most popular. I'm a big fan of strength work too - be it bodyweight (yoga covers this to a certain extent) or lifting, but I've noticed some plans give it a miss!

Loving Week 9!!!
I do an hour a day on an exercise bike too, so this week I've tried doing the
cycling
before my runs to see if it has any effect, and I've had no 5 or 10 minute run Gremlins which I used to get, and have felt comfortable all the way through the run - so it's something I'll be sticking with.

CTA shocking result and hard coming to terms, what to do...!
I am mid 50s and have generally a healthy life style (gym,
cycling
, badminton etc) and not overweight (some even call me thin). Usual annual blood tests combining other risk scores never pointed to CAD problem.

Scariest night
So last night I was looking forward to a night on my Todd whilst hubby was at the
cycling
to catch up on all my rubbish tv programmes in peace. Around 8pm I felt like I’d wet myself so ran to the toilet only to find blood. It was like a massive gush of red blood with clots.

Breathless
Cycling
off road up and down hills for 10 miles..no problem, I am fairly fit. If anything exercise makes me feel better when doing it and for a while after. I can however then get breathless lying on the sofa that evening and the breathlessness has been on off since Jan and we are now late March.

Breathless
I excercise regularly usually
cycling
up and down hills and if anything have got faster in last few years and fitter. No cought or other symptoms but I don't sleep well and often feel anxious. I have been very stressed recently...could this be anxiety?

Choosing a defibrillator
I like sports such as snowboarding, sailing, climbing and
cycling
. Does anyone have any experience with doing these exercises with a ICD? Thanks for your help.

Statin side effects
After a three month or so recovery I mostly feel fine although don't have previous energy levels, I'm back walking, hiking and
cycling
(have bought an electric mountain bike for the more severe climbs in Snowdonia!).

? Any thoughts welcome.

My test results and symptoms interpretation request please
I rediscovered my teenage love of
cycling
in June 2018 (when I got below 120 kg), and slowly and comfortably increased my exercise level and intensity (and adapted my diet accordingly), and was road and off-road
cycling
up to 300 miles a week by October 2018.

Weather appalling, so no
cycling
. Beat my personal best in the pool by 30 lengths to compensate, 160 in total for a calorie burn of 960. Hold on - has that wind dropped? Add 17 miles and 901. Total exercise calorie burn 1861.
