Has anyone ever been misdiagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
or an IBD, when really it could be an extent of their Endo sneaking into the bowel?

Which medication next?
Sjogrens -dry eyes- and ulcerative
colitis
under control. I bruise easily and get blood blisters on the roof of my mouth, which I wonder is thinned skin? Red cells large and B12 is low according to some but just in official 'normal' range.

82 yr old mother Blind within 3 days of GCA positive biopsy and while on 3 days of IV Steroids. Need info PLEASE
We first came home with 24/7 nurses since mom was so distressed over this plus it caused her to also get
colitis
2 times now and end up in the hospital 4 times since JAN. Mom has never wanted anyone to live with her BUT she is scared now and can't live alone. There are so many changes in our lives.

Worried about vasculitis. Link to other connective tissue comditions?
(I had Pseudomembraneous
colitis
with negative bacterial cultures, diagnosed as ischaemia instead by biopsy) Therefore he's sending me to see if it's an autoimmune connective tissue disorder.

To cut a long story short and not wanting to be too graphic,I started having bowel problems and after having a colonoscopy, was told I have
colitis
. Of course, none of the doctors will directly admit this is because I have given up smoking but Dr Google says this is quite common!!!

I read that feces matter can be used to fight/ cure C-DIFF
I wonder can this cure
Colitis
& Reflux. Both these problems surface after a colonoscopy. I am now on Lialda, with folic acid as well as Dexilant. Two of these medications have extremely high co-pays and there is nothing less costly to take. I supplement with probiotics.

Life is swings and rounadabouts!
My partner has also been pretty unwell with his
colitis
and I have been worried for him. However got some really good news when went to hospital, my platelets are now normal and although white cells and red blood cells normal they have lowered a little.

Will I ever have the energy to work full time again?
Ulcerative
colitis
apparently wants to be my new BFF now as well. I'm thinking I have to learn to accept that unemployment, SSI, financial hardship and chronic illness is my future. However, I have NEVER been one to give up....on anything.

She thinks my adrenalines could be an issue due to all the steroids I was on during my chemo and when my
colitis
was bad. It's awful that we have to pay to get better but it will be worth every penny if she gets me sorted. I'll email Louise with her name for anyone here in Ireland.

A shame because it's doing a great job managing the
Colitis
and it's super cheap! At any rate, I've just asked my doctor to switch my meds so I can experiment. I'm waiting to hear back. I'll let you know how that progresses.

No Thyroid and forgot how to feel happy...
I also have Ulcerative
Colitis
, and I have Vit B12 injections every 3 months. I have also developed Tinnitus since being on Thyroxine. I am very confused, and I have forgotten how to be normal and happy since taking this Thyroxine.

Are there any men out there with Lupus?
As I am diabetic and have Ulcerative
Colitis
the symptoms were originally put down to these but SLE mimics other diseases so is difficult to diagnose. In the first 6 months of this year I started getting probems with both my knee joints and hands and elbows.
