Anyone got any experience of Naproxen and other NSAID's in Chronic Pelvic/Chronic Non Bacterial Prostatitis Inflammation?
I've had Naproxen for sometime but I have been reluctant to take it because I've read that it can spark off Ulcerative
Colitis
- and I do have anal symptoms as well as front ones. Some studies recommend it though Any thoughts?

Bowel endo
My colonoscopy shows inflamation in my large bowel which they think is microscopic
colitis
and have prescribed steroids. However, with my worsening endo symptoms I am worried it is that. Has anyone else had theirs return on the bowel post op or had similar symptoms?

Colitis
I was diagnosed with
Colitis
in 1996 at the age of 17. I think my
Colitis
has been pretty mild. No surgeries!! I’ve only had one colonoscopy at the age of 17! Unfortunately because my colonoscopy was done so many years ago I don’t even know what type of
Colitis
I have.

Is there anything you can compare the pain of childbirth to?
The worst pains I've have ever had in my life are chronic
colitis
, blistered hip cartilage and a medical termination (I thought I was going to die then). Any insight on how these compare would be interesting. Thank you :-)

Diagnosis of MRI scan
Diagnosis which is now Diverticulitis disease and not Diverticulosis also Inflammatory Bowel Disease which is either
Colitis
or Crones and not IBS as I once had. I will need at some point another Endoscopy. Since Friday felt quite numb feeling little low, this is unlike me.

Full of Relief
They first told me that I had
colitis
(which is inflammation on the colon) so I was being treated with antibiotics for that, then they told me that they thought it was my appendix because of the pain I was experiencing in my right side and it just never went away and I was receiving morphine every 4

Vitamin d
I have mild
colitis
and my main symptom is an overwhelming fatigue. My recent blood test shows my vitamin d level to be 41 despite taking calcichew tablets. Could that be the reason I feel so tired?

Colonoscopy Update
The dr took a few biopsies from diffrent parts of my colon just to check there is no inflamation that is not visible using the scope like
colitis
. He also check my ileocecal valve and the opening to the small intestine and said both was ok.

How long does it take to heal ulcerative Colitis after remicade
Hi My 25 year old son had his first flare up and it is severe Crohn-collitis. Neither Oral nor IV prednisone worked for him, so has been given Remicade a week ago, still in hospital. His bleeding stopped around 85% but urge to bowel and pain is still same. I never heard about this disease before, can

Secondary illnesses
Turned out I had severe ulcerative
colitis
and probably had for ten years or so. Because I waited so long, they had a terrible time getting it under control. The meds wrecked my body. At the same time, I had to have my gallbladder removed and I got shingles. It was like the perfect storm.

I have had histology reports which state I have collagenous
colitis
, which is a form of microscopic
colitis
, but there is a bit of head scratching about this as my colonoscopy showed inflammation which doesn't normally show with this type of
colitis
.
