New and desperate for help with fistulas
There is no evidence of Crohns or
colitis
in my large intestine, hence the capsule camera. My bloods have shown a B12 deficiency, which goes toward explaining the horrendous feeling I have.

ET Causing Ischemic Colitis?
Could ischemic
colitis
be attributed to ET even with a platelet count under 500? My thought is that an MPN like ET might change the nature of the blood beyond just the platelet count.

Help! Links with bowel problems
But I've also been diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
and had problems with my bowels. I'm convinced they are linked but both consultants said they didn't know about the other. Has anyone had a consultant that has looked at both bowels and reproductive system. TIA

Histamine Intolerance and DAO deficiency, Gut problems
I have Hashimoto’s (diagnosed March last year), and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Proctitis (
colitis
) and Duodenitis this week as well. I am 95% certain my gut problems came first, and I have a feeling that this DAO deficiency was the root of all problems.

Hello, I'm new to posting.
I went to GP, he got on phone to the on call rheumatologist, I should add I have a history of autoimmune issues, ulcerative
colitis
and hypersensitivity pneumonitis and also tested positive for the rheumatoid factor.

Lupus and the Liver
My mother died from
colitis
and liver failure at 48. The doctors had her on iron pills. Possibly because she showed up anemic due to lupus. I believe lupus was unheard of in the 70's. How is the liver affected by lupus? This is confusing to me.

PREDISOLONE
I have fibromyalgia Ulcerated
colitis
and inflammation and the predisolone really help me a lot. They keep my pain down tremendously and I can have a good life on them. When I was only on 5mg it helped a lot. If I take only 5mg a day will that do any harm to my bones?

I'm told "You have an ulcer."
Following a hospital stay three years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
. The surgeon who attended me is now my gastroenterologist. I follow his instructions and have had no lower G.I. symptoms.

Am I totally alone with these symptoms? Suspected endometriosis.
- My cousin was diagnosed with endometriosis a couple of years ago - I've been tested for ulcerative
colitis
, Crohn's disease etc. and these have been ruled out - My doctor told me to take two of my birth control pills (Cerelle) per night to try and stop the bleeding, but I've been doing this for two

I'm New Here...
Good Morning, I was diagnosed with PA a few weeks ago (after years of hospitals thinking I had
Colitis
, then Crohns, then Cancer, then Depression etc). I had my first lot of treatment 3 days ago (which hurt a lot more than I was expecting).

Newbie with a Permanent Stoma
I was first diagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
in 1976 aged 24 and I was horrified by the prospect of surgery but thankfully the condition has been managed with medication etc since then.

GP Blood Test
I was diagnosed with ulcerative
colitis
after a colonoscopy in September. I had been having symptoms for a couple of years which got worse and worse. Back in March, I had blood tests done for
colitis
, Crohn's and cealiac but they came back normal.

Being passed from pillar to post - any ideas for expediting diagnosis and treatment?
This has led to an interim diagnosis of ulcerative
colitis
, which is being further investigated and biopsied to check it is not Crohns. Anyway, long story short...I really want to make sure I'm not being fobbed off, of missing anything.
