Colitis

Hi, I have colitis and IBS. Does anyone use an injection called Adalimumab? A friend recently told me she uses it to manage colitis. I think it’s very expensive which is why it’s given as a last resort.

I wondered do either of these drugs make Chrons or Colitis worse at all? I noticed sometimes they make me feel abit worse. Thanks

Hi, has anyone been prescribed Budenofalk 2mg rectal foam for Ulcerative colitis? I have been given this at my hospital appt to help with the inflammation/ diarrhoea/ bleeding. Just wondering if it caused anyone any side effects or if it helped in anyway?

Does anyone on here have firsthand experience of ulcerative colitis? If yes what were your symptoms and how did you get a diagnosis (if you have a diagnosis) please? Many thanks in advance.

I was in hospital in April with colitis and diverticulitis in January of this year diagnosed with mpn is there any connection

I don’t have a diagnosis for Crohn’s/colitis but I do have coeliac disease, IBS, acid reflux and lactose intolerance. I also have a family history of colitis.

Information but comment: I have ulcerative colitis. My specialist nurse told me that some people with IBD also suffer with RLS. As high as 20%. I have an appointment with my GP next week, I will see if she was aware of this relationship.

hi guys, ive had tinnitus since i had my first bowel surgery in 1996 ( large bowel was removed due to ulcerative colitis) yet every time i mention it to the GP, they seem to ignore it. Doing my research over the years i think it was caused by the anesthetic.

hi, I’m due to start an 8 week trial of Bendenofalk (Budenoside) in the sachets/granules form for recently diagnosed Microscipic Colitis I’m worried about side effects, particularly related to mental health as I am prone to depression and anxiety although managed currently . Thanks Claire

Has anyone been diagnosed with Crohn's or ulcerative colitis with these symptoms? I’ve had many tests, including a colonoscopy, and they tell me there is just inflammation, but I suspect I might have Crohn's.

Hi I’ve been taking mesasalazine for 5 years since my diagnosis with ulcerative colitis. These days I suffer from chronic cold feet/ pins and needles and I am wondering if it might be a side effect of my medication. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem ?

Hi does anyone with pv have ulcerative colitis was it a consultation when given ruxolitinib i never give it a second thought until I got a message through that it's camera time again uc has been quite for along while touch wood !!!

Common side effect is gastritis and stomach issues, I have ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis so enough going on with stomach. Has anyone tried successfully lowering it with plant sterols, I am going to work on diet as well.

I have decompensated cirrhosis of the liver, Addison disease, colitis, and just had a stroke 3 weeks ago.

Hello lovely people just wanted to find out if anyone has experienced abdominal pain linked to inflammation of the bowel/colon and a possible diagnosis of colitis.

Just a quick question. I take Edoxaban (30 mg). I know Arnica shouldn't be taken orally with anti coagulants but would it be ok to use topically as a cream for leg pain?
