Update re RA and associated Colitis
Yep it's
colitis
following colonoscopy biopsy results. They are of the impression it is microscopic
colitis
(associated to auto immune diseases) but not 100% sure. So the handle is unspecified
colitis
which is a common saying. Treatment is steroids.

IBD-colitis
Information but comment: I have ulcerative
colitis
. My specialist nurse told me that some people with IBD also suffer with RLS. As high as 20%. I have an appointment with my GP next week, I will see if she was aware of this relationship.

Inflammatory arthritis and
colitis
. All was going well until I received a phone call to say stop taking them because my last blood test showed a problem with red blood count. I've googled excessively until I've frightened the wits out of myself.

Tired of colitis
After that I had about 4 or 5 flare ups over the course of the next 50 years, not having been officially diagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
until 12 years ago. Mostly I tried fasting or Chinese herbs for those flare ups and largely, it worked.

Post Colonoscopy Result - what could it be?
If I had crohns or
colitis
, would the colonoscopy had shown it? What else could it be? Or what other tests should I push for? I was so convinced that it was going to be Crohns,
Colitis
or worse, but now I’m not sure. Of course I’m happy the test was normal but unsure what to do next.

I have
colitis
and it’s suppose to be good for that but not advised for kidney patients . My gut gives me more problems than my kidney does. I’m 4 years post transplant and have stable blood pressure.

Tofacitinib
Ive got ulcerative
colitis
peripheral spondyloarthritis and axial spondyloarthritis but nothing is keeping the
colitis
at bay. I also need to stop my methotrexate injections because im moving onto tofacitinib. This is my last option before surgery and getting my colon out.

Anyone taking a biologic like Humira, entyvio, or Lialda or stelara?
I have ulcerative
colitis
with inflammation of the cecum that may be due to lupus or meds. Not really sure. I’m advised to take something similar to one of the drugs questioned to reduce inflammation. I have ckd 3b and don’t want to make it worse. Trying to determine which is better.

Dipyridamole
She said she would need to ask Gastro, Stroke (I have a history of stroke and
colitis
) and Neurologist for their approval. The first two specialist said its okay but the neurologist said not to prescribe it as it has not been proven to help with RLS. I give up.
