I wondered do either of these drugs make Chrons or Colitis worse at all? I noticed sometimes they make me feel abit worse. Thanks

Hi, has anyone been prescribed Budenofalk 2mg rectal foam for Ulcerative colitis? I have been given this at my hospital appt to help with the inflammation/ diarrhoea/ bleeding. Just wondering if it caused anyone any side effects or if it helped in anyway?

Yep it's colitis following colonoscopy biopsy results. They are of the impression it is microscopic colitis (associated to auto immune diseases) but not 100% sure. So the handle is unspecified colitis which is a common saying. Treatment is steroids.

Information but comment: I have ulcerative colitis. My specialist nurse told me that some people with IBD also suffer with RLS. As high as 20%. I have an appointment with my GP next week, I will see if she was aware of this relationship.

I have decompensated cirrhosis of the liver, Addison disease, colitis, and just had a stroke 3 weeks ago.

I have colitis that began to present in December of 2023.

If I had crohns or colitis, would the colonoscopy had shown it? What else could it be? Or what other tests should I push for? I was so convinced that it was going to be Crohns, Colitis or worse, but now I’m not sure. Of course I’m happy the test was normal but unsure what to do next.

After that I had about 4 or 5 flare ups over the course of the next 50 years, not having been officially diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis until 12 years ago. Mostly I tried fasting or Chinese herbs for those flare ups and largely, it worked.

I have colitis and it’s suppose to be good for that but not advised for kidney patients . My gut gives me more problems than my kidney does. I’m 4 years post transplant and have stable blood pressure.

We all know of the problems stress can cause for ibs. I have also noticed when ever I do any gardening,moving pots of plants or bending over to weed. Results in spasm pain for 2-3 days.Wonder if others have found the same. Thankfully buscopan helps.

Hi, I am still learning about bronchiectasis and how to treat and manage it to minimise deterioration. My gp was happy to prescribe carbocysteine and Mucoclear and I have found this helps loosen the phlegm in my lungs so I can clear them to some extent.
