experience CLL Ibrutinib Colitis
That is ulcerative
colitis
throughout the system. The gastroenterologist has said that the
colitis
has come more likely because of a weak immune system not because of ibrutinib in itself. The leukemia doctor has warned me that I might die this year.

Today the district nurse called at my request.
Some of you know that my husband suffers from ulcerative
colitis
as well as PSP. It started in 1977 and he was hospitalised 4 times. However, he hadn't had any symptoms for 10 years. In December he had a UTI and I told the GP penicillin would start the UC up again.

New and confused?!
Long story short eventually got diagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
. Was med resistant and ended up having my colon removed early 2012. A few weeks later I woke up with breathlessness and chest pain. Long story short went to hospital had a scan and was found to have a huge pulmonary embolism.

Testing
I haven't been diagnosed with Crohn's or
colitis
, but I am awaiting to see a gastroenterologist for testing. I match the symptoms for IBD, although because my calprotection test came back normal my GP is saying it's just IBS. Although my CRP levels in my blood were raised quite a lot.

IBS C- chronic idiopathic constipation
I have close family history of small bowel cancer (mother) and ulcerative
colitis
(father). I am very stressed. I am booked in for a colonoscopy soon, which my specialist said was a bit unnecessary and would most likely show nothing so that's what I'm expecting.

Not a good start to the day!
Fearing another
colitis
"explosion" and as he was not getting back, I decided I'd have to get him on the commode. Unfortunately, after his acrobatics on the bar, he was too near the edge of the bed and gently slipped to the floor. After failing to get him onto the elk, I dialled 999 at 5.00 am.

Prescription charge increase will hit patients say charities
Research by the PCC consistently shows that 1 in 3 people with long-term conditions such as asthma or Crohnâs and
colitis
in England do not collect medicine because of cost. Three quarters of those say their ability to work has been affected as a result.

22 year old Colitis + ITP
Does anyone suffer from Crohn's or
Colitis
as well as ITP? I was recently diagnosed with ITP and was prescribed prednisolone 60mg for 2 weeks as I had a count that fell from 68 to 18. I refused to take them due to practical reasons. I recovered from a cold and my platelets are now 76!
