My phosphorus and
calcium
are both within range so I'm not sure what's causing it. I see my primary doc on Mon and I'll ask her but was curious as to anyone else having this. I still have my glands so that's not the cause.

Alpro Almond Milk..... why do they do this? Any chemists have words of advice?
It contains Vitamins D2, E, B2 and B12 and
calcium
as shown in the photo. I noticed today that the packaging had changed and thought to myself "I wonder if anything else has?" So I checked. Yes indeed there are other changes - The
calcium
is now
calcium
carbonate.

If you have fibro with RA are you given meds for fibro as well ?
Earlier this year I was taken off all my medication because I could never go more than 6 weeks without antibiotics due to infections .Turns out I had a severely infected sub mandibular gland packed with
calcium
stones which made it impossible to have any treatment .

Thyroid Genetic Panel - Results
DI02 - suggest taken T4/T3 therapy,
calcium
and Vitamin D for low mood. PDE8B - TSH Signalling - The A allele on rs4704397 is linked to reduced thyroid sensitivity to TSH stimulation. This could result in higher TSH levels in order to produce normal levels of thyroid hormones (T4 and T3).

Has anyone any experience of alternatives? Bugleweed herb? Or motherwort for palpatations?
Because of the elevated
calcium
I asked for a PTH parathyroid bloodtest, came back 'normal' was bit upset because I was hoping it would be low. Hate Carbimazole doc gave me 20mgs as a titration to shock the thyroid then plan to reduce to 5mgs?

Is all the extra medication needed?
At the start I was also advised to take Ibandronic acid to make the bones take up
calcium
and avoid osteoporosis, and also a PPI to line my stomach and supposedly prevent ulcers.

Fibro-Fatigued-Fed up!!!
I’m also starting on
calcium
and magnesium and vitamin tablets. I’ve also started trying L-tryptophan which releases serotonin and melatonin, I’m also going to start trying 5-HTP. if anybody has tried any of these, I would love to know how you found them and have they helped?

SlowDragon please comment on my situation if you're around.
Aren't you supposed to not take
calcium
, etc., close to your thyroid dosing? He is on T3 only. I take NDT 3x a day.

Checking medication
Their doctor put them on Perindopril for high blood pressure, Amiodipine- a
calcium
channel blocker, and Fenofibrate for high cholesterol. He thought they made his legs so much worse (his doctor doesn't seem to listen to him just prescribes new tablets) so came to me for help.

My PSA tripled in 8 months
I take
Calcium
, Magnesia and Zinc tablet about three times a week ,perhaps I should not. By the way, I found there are two ways of blood test, one is by nuclear medicine lab, the other by ordinary lab by serum. Which one is more reliable? My test is always done by nuclear medicine Lab.

My only fresh embryo transfer from two rounds failed. I’m heartbroken. I don’t think I was given the right medical care. Unsupportive DH
However - the clinic had me agree to
calcium
ionophore at the last minute (which I think was totally wrong for our situation) two of my embryos went into arrest. And one disintegrated. One survived. On my silly little way I went after the transfer without checking my progesterone?!?

Well at least that’s one less thing to worry about.
Not being a pill popper before diagnosis I have struggled to take the
calcium
and Vit D supplement and Alendronic Acid which were prescribed as routine by my GP.

Anyone had any issues with this affecting absorption of
calcium
or other minerals? Have a bone density problem and can't afford for it to do that. Also getting tingling in toes, fingers and lips which can apparently be a sign of deficiency. Anyone know anything about this?

My response to WinnieThePoo.
Overstimulation of NMDA glutamate receptor would then lead to neuronal
calcium
overload. Some types of AMPA and kainate receptors can contribute to intracellular
calcium
overload because their coupled membrane ion channels are at least partially permeable to
calcium

Amlodipine- calcium channel blockers
I have also been prescribed Amlodipine (
calcium
channel blockers) 5mg once a day to reduce BP. I am assured I will not feel drowsy or, breathless taking these. Anyone on this particular drug? What a roller coaster trying to get the correct meds/dosage.
