Anyone had any issues with this affecting absorption of calcium or other minerals? Have a bone density problem and can't afford for it to do that. Also getting tingling in toes, fingers and lips which can apparently be a sign of deficiency. Anyone know anything about this?

If you have any possible side effects from medication you should discuss with your GP, who may be able to offer alternatives.
PPI’s are known to affect the absorption of some things. I’ve been on them long term and I take a vitamin D supplement- a spray under the tongue and I have vitamin B12 injection. If you have certain supplements you may need to bypass the stomach to ensure you receive what you actually take.
HI, I have to take Vitamin B tablets as Iam now deficient, waiting to see if I need an injection. I have been taking Lanasaprol for ages ! My vision has improved since being on the tablets so I do think it’s all a vicious circle!!! You take one tablet for one thing then you need another one to combat the effects of the other.
I have found Lansoprazole is a culprit for serious upset tummy. Now reading your post am wondering if it is the culprit for my sudden deficiency in Vitamin D, B12 and Folic Acid? 👍
