Statin Side Effects
I’ve had blood tests &
calcium
levels are found to be raised. GP said that statins wouldn’t cause high
calcium
levels, but when I looked into to it (google) it said artovastatin can cause this 🤷♀️ I am seeing another GP next week for a review appointment.

Had paroxysmal since 2016
Normal sinus rhythm was restored about 10 minutes after a
calcium
blocker was administered. I was considering ablation but decided to wait to see if the Multaq would help. Multaq is expensive along with the Eliquis.

Timing of NDT doses
Most of the foods I eat seem to have
calcium
, iron or magnesium, and I don't want to fill up with junk like gluten free rice bread (I am on a low oxalate diet).

Constipation
Is it due to the prednisone or the
Calcium
supplements (600 mg x 2 per day)? I take Miralax (Restorolax) every couple of days. then I take mineral oil for couple of days, then Sennekot with Senna once per week to clear things out. Is there any advice you can share.

CT Scan - Angiogram not done
I arrived, got in the donut had the first scan - described as "simple of the heart" - then nurse came out and said something like "the doctor has seen
calcium
deposits in the heart and we aren't going to do the contrast scan".

follow up to previous post. Help please.
So we see the ones called calceous 400 unit with
calcium
1 twice a day did not maintain her level. So that could be one reason why she suffers muscle and joint pains. From your advise to buy vit D spray so I have done bought better you with K2.

Armour Thyroid for over 20 years
Take
calcium
, magnesium and zinc. Always on take Armour on empty stomach. My TSH came down but my FT3 and FT4 haven't budged. So last week I asked her to increase and she informed me that she couldn't because I was diagnosed with osteopenia at the site of my 2 lumbar fusions.

Nervous about Reclast
He said that I was in the high moderate stages of osteoporosis and that taking a high dosage of
Calcium
and vitamin D would not help reverse this. His concern is that the bone density is in the spine and possible bone fracture could occur.

latest DEXA scan
I'm tempted to say no thanks and keep sucking down the
calcium
and vitamin D but would appreciate thoughts/comments from those understanding this part of PMR better than I.

How can I increase level of vitamin B12 in my body?
There is a lot of weakness in my body, when I got the blood test done, I have a lot of deficiency of
calcium
and vitamin B12, so how can I make up for this deficiency when I do not eat non-veg?

Zolendronic Acid Infusions
I’m only on
Calcium
D3 and refused Alendronic Acid in the past . Any thoughts from anyone who’s had these infusions or anyone else with more knowledge. One other factor is I’m planned to have a dental implant and I think there is an interaction?
