Serum ferritin , 151 ng/ml (12-233) Serum folate 4.7 ng/ml (2.4-26.8) Serum
calcium
2.31 mmol/L I have a lot of other things with figures but don’t know how relevant they are ? I don’t think zinc or selenium is on there though, should this be tested?

Anyone else with Jak2 PV have difficulty walking and leg pain?
I take Magnesuim/
calcium
and other supplements which are supposed to be anti inflamatory, like Olive leaf extract. I also take a chinese medicine formula which is suppose to support bones and help with Menopause symptoms. Been taking it for about 10 years.

I had a medical crisis, I didn't die, I wonder why
The crisis was because my
calcium
was off the charts. Several times high normal.
Calcium
is a critical electrolyte but high levels are very damaging to hearts and kidneys in particular. For a couple of days they were drawing blood every few hours.

ADT and bone loss lost opportunity !?
femur down and lumbar down from T -2.8 declined to T -3 (loss of 2.9%) that after 14months on oral biphosphonates I can’t exercise (polio etc) I walk very little but try as much as I can (physical advice is poor as little knowledge of polio) so essentially need to rely on eating well and maintaining

Multiple nodules thyroid
I have been advised to completely remove the thyroid, but I wish to try RFA to reduce them volume and prevent the complications streaming from parathyroid glands removal( 4 small glands responsible for the body
calcium
level).

Could eating Natto cure Parkinson's?
Side note: In beef processing, the bones not sold are ground up and fed to the cattle for
calcium
and proteins. If one cow has bovine spongiform encephalopathy or mad cow disease and is fed back to the rest of the herd, they can all have mad cow disease.

Leg swelling - hyperthyroid
My last blood test on Dec 7 showed my thyroid numbers are in the normal range for the most part and so my Carbimazole dose was reduced to 5mg once per day; I was taken off the
calcium
channel blocker. I had the flu last week and now see that my legs are starting to swell since the weekend.

How to nurture bone health
This mineralised matrix of collagen and
calcium
phosphate - magnesium an important bone nutrient too, helping to keep
calcium
in our bones. Osteocytes, osteoblasts and osteoclasts are bone cells. The activity of these being very important to bone health.

Definitely not as bad as the
calcium
channel blockers or nitro that I tried before . I am very unsure of what to do . I take 500mg as I am very sensitive to meds . My chest tightness, pain and sweating have not gone away . I had 3 nights with feeling unwell ,palpitations ,profuse sweating ,etc .

Mum back in hospital.
No wonder she has been so unwell she has....Low potassium Low
Calcium
Low Magnesium That looks like it is affecting the electrodrods in her heart. So she is being hooked up to heart monitor and a drip during the night.

Darolutamide and Desunomab Questions
But I am a little afraid of Prolia’s side effects and wonder if
calcium
pills and weight bearing exercise will make it unnecessary. Should I take Prolia now, or wait to see what a DEXA scan shows in 6 months?

Supplements for 2nd trimester
Hello all, I’m 16 weeks pregnant now and as it’s my first pregnancy I’m not sure whether I should just go for Iron, Protein,
Calcium
supplements or wait for my midwife to suggest.
