Look out 2015 - here we come!
From those first nervous steps off the couch
back
in March to the highs of summer running, through
injury
and then the winter comeback... I've loved it all, and loved sharing in it with you... Run on team... we can do anything!

Hi everyone. I recently posted on here about my stomache lump which has since been scanned and all is ok. My blood tests all came back normal and so the rheumatologist and gp are both in agreement that it's probably fibromyalgia causing my problems. I have been given ametripatim to take instead of

Chilly run/walking… sub-zero; thermals appreciated!!
I love this Galloway way...25 minutes/3.4k and I'm all smiley (& I can still manage the stairs) - I feel I'm being gentle with my old-ish body, helping it to grow stronger in the process, and, because I don't wobble-run with exhaustion now, I feel less like I'm going to end up

Trigger Points & Myofascial Pain Syndrome
http://saveyourself.ca/tutorials/trigger-points.php Found this site that has some thought provoking points with regards Fibro and the bodies trigger points for pain. There is a bit at the bottom that wants you to buy the complete book but you do not have to buy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FukBZp9gyQQ

I am still battling through C25K doing WK8 once a week or so having come
back
into running after a month off with ankle
injury
(now fine- yay!) but struggling to get up with these horribly dark mornings at 5.30am for a run.

I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis 3 years ago. Since then I have been using steam-breathing when I can to self treat. I carry amoxil with me in case of need. Any other ideas on the subject please?

Third run

Back after injury
Hi everyone. After a four week injury break I tentatively went out last night with week 7 still on the MP3 and thought I'd just see how it went. I managed 15 minutes running, then took three short walks (30 secs) during the next 10, before running the final 5. Today I have done a 9 hour shift with no

An apology... and an update...
Well - even with the dark coming in and the wilds of Birmingham City Center to deal with (it's actually quite okay) I've managed to come
back
pretty well from that pesky
injury
and I've been doing at least 2 runs during the week and a long run on a weekend...

Injury concerns
Used to do a lot of running but each time I try to go
back
to it I end up with some sort of
injury
(no matter how slow I take it) had came to the conclusion that at 46 I'm 2 old for running now without risk of injury but decided to give c25k a go .
