Back from the injury couch & with new shoooes!
Today was my first run
back
from the
injury
couch since December 13th! I took it easy & went all the way back to week two, only running a little faster than I might have if I was doing it for the first time. No knee pain so far, but still keeping my fingers crossed!

Humour
An 85-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow." The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the doctor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean

body odour changed? check this list...
Just posting this quickly as am already pooped / headache, but I was looking to see why my sweat had changed to something intolerable ( cabbages) and was all ready to blame the pain meds when I found this interesting article and now am persuing the methionine as a possible cause as it relates to my PA

Just over 3 years ago I seen a neurologist who suspected I had MND. Recently had a Dat Scan followed by an MRI and Spect Scan as my illness wasn't following the usual pattern of MND. Out Spending Money...Again
I've been saving up for a tumble dryer...much to Himself's disgust because he's thinking of the leccky bill... The problem is not so much damp clothes and stuff it's more dog hairs 'cos Eilis sleeps with me on the settee and sheds copious amounts of short dark hair that seems to be impossible to get

I'm Back!!
Anybody on the
injury
couch, you will be
back
. There is no better feeling (well maybe there is!..) than coming back after a good run and the rush that stays with you for hours after. Not to mention the advantage to your skin, My hubby always says I'm glowing - probably like a beacon!

Anyone finding treadmill much harder?
I graduated in may last year and was working up 10k however had a knee
injury
and took time out. When I got
back
to it, winter was here and I couldn't run outdoors! I am doing 2 treadmill runs midweek and 1 run outdoors at weekend but finding treadmill extremely difficult! Anyone else find this?

Hello. I'm new here
Recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia after telling my doctor there's something wrong with me for 5 years since I had a
back
injury
at work. Rheumatoidologist says fibro may have been caused by this accident.

Medicine
I am currently in France and have sustained a lower
back
injury
, which I struggle to walk with, the doctor has prescribed me Ketoprofene Zentiva 100mg, and Monocrixio 100mg, unfortunately the language barrier was a massive problem whilst asking questions about these medicines.

The storm
Last night I lay in my bed listening to the rain and the wind lashing and buffeting the house , making the tiles jump and chatter on the roof - sleep deserted me . This morning I looked out through tear streaked windows and watched pearl droplets increasing in size and momentum as they coursed erratically

Back to it, but in pain :(
I worry that it is worse due to getting
back
into running and I’ve done damage on an existing hip
injury
. Thoughts? I am very saddened by this pain as I have loved my first few runs back and even made myself a new training schedule to get my posture and core strength better(pilates)! Any advice?

Armour Thyroid pre- and post-reformulation
I would ask a question about Armour Thyroid; I know some members here are on it and doing fine. If the addition of cellulose a few years ago made Armour harder to digest (and made sublingual administration impossible), can it work like it used to if the dose is raised, to compensate for impaired absorption

Finally, a consultant who understands!
Finally, I've seen a consultant who seems to understand this wretched illness and the difficulty of reducing steroids without causing a flare up. He knew what I was talking about when I said I was trying to follow the Kirwan reduction plan, deplored the fact that not much research is being done on

Having not been able to run for three weeks between
injury
, children's Christmas activities and so, starting
back
with a combination steep trails/hilly road and hillier, er, hill in sub zero conditions seemed like a tremendously bad idea from the warmth of my bed.

A lack of lolloping.
I've incurred some sort of hip/lower
back
based
injury
(fear not, I have consulted the doctor who appears unconcerned, and as a C25K graduate herself, encouraged me to continue once my hip/back stops hurting).

My 2014 Review - Injuries, PBs and a love of running :-)
I thought this would stop the injury but as soon as I started up again the
injury
came
back
which was very frustrating. It was fortunate that at the same time we were given an option of seeing a physio for free at work so I took up the offer.

W7 restart
I had injured my hip and also ripped my lower
back
which was the
injury
that I was hoping I wouldn't get. It was my
back
that stopped me doing phys training about six years ago. But since it's repair and my running it is now able to heal it's self. So I started on run 1 of week 7 again.
