Hello
I've been out of the exercise loop since a
back
injury
around 5 years ago and I admit I now use fear of injury as an excuse not to try. I've decided to at least try and C25K seems the best option for me. So, here goes

Some Of The People We've Met...
It goes without saying that we've met some interesting people over the years and most have been during the last eighteen years in Ireland... From Tad, who models himself on Oscar Wilde...down to the hair parted in the middle and the long flowing cloak...to Potty Penny, who informed me she'd fought in

THE 10% RULE........and apology.
Despite being fitter than ever in my life, I don't bounce
back
from
injury
as quickly as I used to. Let's face it 10% is an arbitrary figure. It just happens to make the calculation easier than 9.87% or even 15%.

injury
lay off. Cheers, Hadvar.

STARTING OVER...as the Yanks say.
I'M
BACK
!! Been away for a prolonger rest on the
injury
couch (damaged ankle and then a wonderful crop of verrucas on the ball of my foot), and I have decided to start from scratch. I'm now at W2R2 and it is great.

Bouncing back from the injury couch!
I had met with an accident on March 9 which resulted in a wrist bone dislocation and while the healing process will take north of 3 months atleast, I am very glad I could come back and may I say with a bang! Things that helped me: 1. I strictly followed the doctor's advice about taking enough rest initially

A little update
Hey fibro-family! Recently had a meeting with work and I'll be returning on part time on the 2nd of April. It's either that or lose my job. It's been 2 months and I'm still awaiting an appointment with occupational therapy. Needless to say I'm quite terrified, to say the least. Doctors don't want

Psychological trauma and fibromyalgia
Anyone ever wondered if psychological trauma and stress are strongly linked to fibromyalgia? My family and I have had the most awful news a week ago and my symptoms are a lot worse. FROM ONE RUN.........TO ANOTHER.
This is a distance that I have only done once before and that was over a year ago, but I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it, now my pace is building
back
up again after
injury
. So all prepared, with route planned, I headed out on a glorious sunny afternoon.

New here!
I injured myself at the gym;
back
injury
by which I was seen by a Physio. He examined me and said that I had a curved spine and muscle issues. More importantly that my spine was curved, he said I should try and sort the problem by adjusting my posture.

back
from
injury
. So I set off slow. Amazingly, my hangover evaporated in the cold morning air as I breathed in the early spring aromas of damp earth.
