New PB - This rowing's a blast
I wish I could run this fast ;) I'm still on the running
injury
bench but not
back
on the couch :) I've been fitted with Orthotics which are retraining my almost collapsed arch back into its correct position.

Tertiary Hypothyroidism
You hear a lot about Primary and even Secondary hypothyroidism but very little about Tertiary hypothyroidism. Has anyone on here been diagnosed with it or had any Hypothalamic Dysfunction recognised?

Lack of motivation
So after 40 days after my brain
injury
i'm
back
to work light duty only..today is my worst day since after the accident, i'm in a low mood, and since part my job requires me to give life style coaching sessions, I barely feel motivated myself to be able to motivate others.

What to expect after a TBI
He suffered from multiple injuries all over his body (broken ribs, leg, arm, neck,
back
and a brain
injury
). On the day he came in he was taken down to theatre (once stable enough) to add a drain for the blood and fluid on the brain.

Working in a hot climate.
Hi has anyone worked in a hot climate? I have been offered a job in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. I know its hot out there but I think it will be mostly office based. I'm going to have a meeting mid September about my role it will be in construction. I'm not working at the moment I quit my job December 2013.

What to do when coming back from injury?
Hi guys, I've been off of my C25K for a couple of weeks now as I was involved in a car accident and got whiplash (the rest of me is ok, but alas the car did not fair so well). I am currently waiting for some physio that the insurance company has offered and have stopped running to make sure I heal

Hay fever, asthma and running.
I started running on a treadmill (1% incline) for a few weeks instead and got to around week 8 then had to take a few weeks off due to a knee
injury
(ice skating) i'm trying to get
back
into my runs outside because I miss them and the treadmill is boring.

Week 5 success!
I started couch
back
in May and was held up with a knee
injury
for a few weeks. This morning I completed week 5 with the daunting 20 minute run....it was amazing. Laura said I could do it and I did! Incredible programme. Don't fear the 20 minute run. If you have made it this far, you will succeed.

That went much better than anticipated!
Since my
injury
on W8R3
back
in March, I have been terribly cautious about venturing out again. I went back to week 3, repeating each run twice or even 3 times, and have switched my running style so that I'm now a forefoot striker (but not yet in barefoot shoes).
