Autoimmune hepatitis scare
I'm new to this forum and think it's great. My problem: My GP just told me I probably have autoimmune hepatitis as my GGT is 107, IgM is 5.55, Mitochondrial Ab is positive, and Mitochondrial Ab Titre 1:640. She gave me the impression that I have a much shortened lifespan and will spend the rest of what

L Tyrosine may be helpful
My next attempt at relief is to try L Tyrosine is a non essential amino acid that is the precursor of the neurotransmitter, dopamine. Tyrosine is converted into Levodihydrophenylalanine (L-Dopa) and L-Dopa is subsequently and avidly converted into dopamine. More on the subject here:https://clinicaltrials.gov

Is it normal for Doctors to tell you not to worry if you tell them you think you have an additional clot in a superficial vein?
While in the hospital last month with a DVT in arm, my leg started feeling like it was getting a clot. ( superficial vein.) The doctor said we are giving you Lovenox sub cutaneous injections. It's all we can do anyway, so it doesn't matter. Once released- about two days later- this bruise happened exactly

Very very promising scientific breakthrough!!
Hi all, I have edited this post to delete the link I provided to a company which was a scam. The essence of what I was trying to say is that there may be a link between rls and poor gut health. Scientists are learning just how intelligent microbacteriums are, how they can make you depressed, anxious,

Subclinical hypo - ps
Thanks for all my responses. One thing I thought of today is that when I had my tsh of 7 ish I was taking 800mg of kelp a day. I don't always keep this up (I'm a bit sporadic) but had for at least a week before this test. Since getting the 25mg levothyroxine I stopped as not sure I should be taking it

Best form of Selenium Supplement: Selenomethionine
Hello, I need to buy a new box of my selenium supplement. The one I was using was from a brand called "Sentinel" and has other vitamins added to such as A and C and beta carotene, things I don't think I need. Now, I'm looking for a good brand. I've listened to an interview about Selenium and thyroid
