Hypophosphatasia
Recently had a number of blood tests. One test which has been upper end of low for about 4 years is alkaline phosphatase. Normal range, 46-116 U/L. My results were 2016: 39; 2017: 29; 2018: 32; 2019: 40. I've never had any of the tooth or bone abnormalities generally associated with hypophosphatasia,

Apixoban
I am about to start taking apixaban instead of Warfarin. Has anyone taken CBD oil or turmeric with it to help with the pain of RA? A friend of mine takes apixaban and CBD oil and she thinks it is marvellous. When I read the side effects of CBD they were very scary! So it has put me off.

Side effects of Apixaban?
I used to take rivaroxaban 2mgs per day, but after a big op for hallus vegus and straightening claw toes I had a bleed behind my kneecap. Came off all anticoags until my knee/leg subsided; that took 3 months before it felt & looked normal again. Now I am just taking 5mgs of Apixaban daily. I notice that

Hair loss on Actavis Levothyrox. Suggestions wanted for why?

It’s currently actavis branded although originally it was mercury pharma when I moved here to the UK from the US in April. Over the past two months I have noticed a lot of hair loss and brittle strands. Is there

ResearchResearch points to possible target to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or IPF/
Long-held dogma says lung fibrosis in diseases like idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or IPF, results from recurrent injury to alveolar epithelium that is followed by dysregulated repair. Research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham uproots that paradigm, and it suggests a possible treatment target

Levothyroxine and St Johns wort
Has anyone ever tried to take St Johns wort when on Levothyroxine? Are there any adverse effects if I do so? I am currently on 50mcg Levo. If you do take it, how long do you wait after taking your levo to have the St Johns wort? Thanks, Emily

Depo inj vs prostap
Hello everyone, I was wondering what the difference is between the depo provera injection and the prostap? I'm aware the depo provera is a contraceptive and the prostap is not but that's about it. A plan comes together.
After a positive report at my appointment at the Oncologist Clinic, in the middle of August 2019, I decided to take a further leap of faith and go back to The Broads to sneak in another week. My thoughts are to take my son with us this time, I try to treat my 2 children
