Stopping Rivaroxaban before surgery

Lean PCOS
Hi everyone, as you can read by the title I am one of the fewer girls with lean PCOS. However I still suffer all the same symptoms. My worst battle is with hairloss and hirsutism. The hirsutism appears worse on my tummy and on my face although there are many other areas I have to keep on top of with

Pleural effusion
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had pleural effusion, it has taken me 3 months of constantly complaining to my doctor and rheumatologist of the pain I have in my right rib area when I take a deep breath sneeze or yawn. I am now being sent for a CT scan as the chest xray shows pleural effusion,

Gave blood today again
I got my First set of Hep A and B vaccine today. I also gave blood to recheck my enzymes. Not feeling to good about the results. Does anyone ever become immune to prednisone and or azathioprine Or are flare ups normal while taking the medication. I'm really frustrated. I'm tired of waiting on the

Hello All...... I believe I posted a week or so ago about my recurrence after a 27 month remission from Stage4 OC. My doctors thought I'd be eligible to enter a study, but as it turns out, I am not. I will start on Carboplatin and gemcitabine on Wednesday. My previous treatment was the Carboplatin

Water retention
I'm getting on ok with being put on warfarin because of a DVT and PE on my lung, but my left leg is massively swollen it's obviously something to do with water retention! Does anyone think it's to do with the drug I'm taking please.

Experience with Tirosint
I am on Levothyroxine 100mcg and having really bad reaction to it about 2 hours after I have taken it (breathing problems, very weak, feel like I am going to collapse, dizzy). Understand Tirosint is a form of Levo without all the additives and buffers. Has anyone had any experience with it? Wondering

My liver biopsy report. What does this mean?
I've attached my liver biopsy report from the Mayo Clinic. They did not take the biopsy, but only reviewed the slides that were sent to them. It seems to diagnose AIH but is unclear about PBC stating that clinical correlation is necessary. The original pathologist from the place that did the biopsy

PBC with possible AIH overlap. Confused, and impatient.
Hey, This is my first post. Ive never done anything like this, but I feel like there is a wealth of info among this group. I have recently had a liver biopsy after a long few months of blood work. I have elevated ALT, GGT, IGG3, a positive AMA, and low neutrophils. None of my levels are very high.
