Yes, they put a catether in the emergency and sent back home that day with it until Sunday. When my husband took out my catether I can pee drip drop and went back to emergency and again they put catether because of urinar retention. Dr. Said he cannot give any medication for it I just have to wait till I can pee on my own. I am very worried already that I may not be able to empty my bladder and have the catether for long period of time.

I had mine in for about 4 weeks and they did a trial without it for a day and everything had gone back to normal, keep it in until they arrange a trial and do pelvic floor exercise as well so ur bladder does not get lazy, don't worry it will go back to normal, it is quite common after having anaesthetic x

I had a lap, just keep drink and you bladder will start working again when it's ready, just make sure you go back to emergency if the catheter is out and you do pee for 24hrs, good luck 😉

My mom has had problems emptying her bladder after numerous surgeries. She said the thing that helped the most was sitting in a tub with a few inches of warm water. She said it helped everything relax. Hope you can go soon x

Hi everyone! I had cystogram yesterday to check if I have bladder injury, because there was blood in my urine. Thankfully everything is okay and I was able to pee on my own so my catether is out.

Praise God everything everything is alright. He really works in mysterious ways. Prayer is the best medicine.
