Hello peeps. I have recently between 1&2 months ago increased my levothyroxine from 75mg to 100mg.Thing is I've started having days where I'm extremely high and very excitable (euphoric) followed by very low days (feel sad & tearful) and exhaustion. The low mood days take me by surprise almost and it's

Disabled rail card application
Hi there. Among other things I’ve had to accept that my driving days are now severely impacted by fibro etc and am looking at getting a disabled rail card. The website says I need to provide a PIP award letter dated the last 12 months. My original letter is over two years old. I’m in the process

Fibro & Severe Stiffness.
Hello all. So it's been a while since I posted last. Many of you were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on many questions about fibro. I had never realised or put the two together when it came down to severe stiffness that some people experienced this as a symptom of fibro. Can anybody explain

Cerelle desogestrel
I've been taking 2x desogestrl tablets daily since January and have noticed the past few months cramping but no period, I've had to go to hospital for morphine to calm this, could this mean my endo has grown back even thought i only had a lap in March 22?

Chronic constipation
hi so I have been suffering with severe chronic constipation soft stools for almost 3 years, they have done testings and ruled out nothing. I always feel it in my rectum and they did a defecography on me last week and found an intra-anal intussusception and a 2.5 cm Rectocele. I am confused on this.

TW: TFMR and loss
Hi, I've just recently had a TFMR for Trisomy 18 at 13+4. It was really traumatic and ended up with surgery and blood transfusions. My egg collection gave me 2 embryos, my first which resulted in this pregnancy and one that is frozen. I'm nervous about the frozen embryo having the same issues but I'm

Modafanil experiences?
Hi all. I am hoping to hear from people who have taken modafanil (Provigil) or armodafanil (Artvigil) for profound daytime sleepiness and fatigue associated with RLS. I am at the end of my options for RLS having taken pretty much everything except dipyridamole with limited success and I continue to

MRI and injuries
I'm Dx with PV jak2 and have been on low dose aspirin 2x daily/phlebotomies every 3 months or so for the last 20 years. My question has to do with inflammation and seemingly lengthy time it takes to heal when injured. I've been dealing with a lingering glute muscle injury obtained during golfing for

3 weeks into disimpaction and no elusive rusty tea.
Hello, I started a disimpaction regime for my 3 year old, 21 days ago. After two weeks we added a Senna Stimulant to assist and he has been on 8 sachets along with the Senna now for 3 weeks. Last Sunday he had a huge gravy like BM and I thought we had turned a corner, then back to lumpy (slightly watery

Incontinence pads: advice please
I’m looking after someone with PSP, symptoms started 2019/20, diagnosed 2021. Due to increasing mobility problems, he’s had a couple of accidents when he couldn’t get to the toilet in time. Just urine so far. Looking for advice & suggestions for incontinence pads. We’re in the London (UK) area.

Spontaneous Subdural Hematoma
I am 58 years old. A few months I started to develop headaches and neck pain that gradually increased in severity. I eventually went to the ER and was diagnosed with a minor subdural hematoma (SDH) based upon a CT Scan and was sent home for follow-up with a neurosurgeon. I have had no recent head

….that back on May 1st I did not want to reach from a couch position. I wanted to complete C25K by today and had a margin for repeating weeks/injury etc which luckily I didn’t need. I didn’t care about the distance and didn’t even identify what it was – just wanted get to the “run” for 30 mins status

Second repeat disimpaction?
Our 5 yo daughter was diagnosed with constipation in April this year, following incidents with poo and wee soiling. We disimpacted her successfully at the time using cosmocol (it took 11 days in total until we reached rusty water stage). We went to the highest maintenance dose. (4 sachets in line with
