Sharp pain in arm

recently I have had intermittent sharp pain in left lower arm ….bit like a nerve pain … wonder if it’s anything to do with tapering off steroids ?

If it’s just one sided probably not PMR ….but are you off steroids completely? And Pred does mask virtually all pain so have you done anything that could account for it?

Just monitor things and obviously if it get worse you do need medical advice.

thanks for that - almost completely off after 10 years! Will keep an eye on things - could be the garden but as I am right handed would have thought that would be affected..,,

Shouldn't be unless you have developed inflammation in the elbow attachment of the muscle that runs from the outer aspect of the elbow to the inner aspect of the wrist but without knowing exactly what you are feeling it is difficult to say.

I have some arthritis in wrists but not too bad … the sharp pain is in between elbow and wrist which comes and goes but quite painful…,, will try and rest it a bit!
