Hi everyone - thanks for your kind & helpful messages since a joined a few weeks ago. My rheumatologist has diagnosed palindromic rheumatism and fibromyalgia. Prescribed Amitriptyline. It’s a relief knowing what is wrong, now I can start find out how to manage it. Has anyone else found Amitriptyline

Chronic use of Senna
I have IBS-c and have used Senna fruit tablets, 2 at night fairly constantly over 6 months. Some research papers say it shouldn't be used chronically as it can cause a lazy bowel but others say there is no good evidence that Senna fruit can damage the colon. Has anybody any experience of long term use

Almost at the end of disimpaction.
Hi everyone. We staring disimpacting my son just over a month ago. We stayed at 12 sachets for 16 days. We had mostly rusty water, though there were often little soft specks. It stayed this way for about a week so we decided to start reducing the dose very slowly. We reduced by one sachet every 3 or

Depo Provera
Good morning, I was simply wondering if I could ask others experience of Depo Provera injections? It’s my last option before another surgery to hopefully reduce my ongoing pain. What side effects are commonly experienced? Thank you so very kindly! E x

Week 4 completed!
Yay, another week under my belt. I felt really good in this run & I even had a little energy to push slightly harder in the last minute .. I’d felt very slight knee discomfort on the previous time out, but I think that’s because I hadn’t transferred my insoles over to my new shoes 🤭🤣 . A bit naughty

Usually tends to wet early morning(5-6am) we tried an alarm four years ago(via enuresis clinic) very briefly but he hated

Covid 19 and struggling to wake from sedation without Sat's going wild
Hi my father in law is in icu with covid 19. This is his 30th day in an induced coma. We thought we was going to lose him over the weekend as his trach had started bleeding into his lungs. Thankfully they have stopped the bleed. Everytime they try and wake him from sedation all his SAT's go all over

Hi all, I hope you are all keeping safe and sane? Yesterday I received a call from my EP as my face to face appointment was cancelled for obvious reasons. Pain in arm
Hello Everyone I am now down to 2&1/2 mg of prednisone. Been on this for a week. As I have never been pain free I just put up with it as my CRP and ESR are excellent. The only thing is a high red blood cell count, For three days I have had a painful arm in the muscular area. Today it dawned on me I used

A miracle for mom
Update on my mom so the doctors are giving us any hope My mom’s been into baited 21 days so now they want to takeoff of that and put a tracheotomy tube because they can’t keep her on the ventilator too long. My Mom was in a medically induced coma and on a Ventilator for 4 weeks because of COVID-19.
My Mom has been awake for a few days and off sedation. She responds when I FaceTime her but I know my Mom and she seems confused and sometimes out of it. Is this normal and how long will it take for her to become totally aware again? Im praying this isn't permanent. :(

3.5yr old son constantly wetting and doesn’t care.
Hi all, My son decided to potty train himself just before he was 2 years old, so we went with it. He was doing really well and had minimal accidents. He started preschool when he turned 2 (I’m a manager at the preschool) and the first half term he was pretty much dry with only the odd accident. He then

Co-vid 19 - third week in ICU for Mum
My Mum has been in ICU ventilated, and at some points on dialysis, for 17 days now. She is off antibiotics and medicine for her blood pressure at the moment. Last week she seemed to be making some progress on being weaned from the ventilation and sedation, but the doctors now seems to think they will
