I graduated on Sunday!
Finally! For me, this is actually the second time I graduated. I started during the first lockdown last year. I then got Covid, so had to stop, then restart. Spring 2020 also coincided with my moving to a different area, so with all the prepping for moving, I did not complete it until after the move.

Baseline transit study
Hi , I’m having a baseline transit study on Friday & the consultant has let me carry on with the laxatives but has said to stop the Prucalopride, so he can hopefully get a better idea of what is happening in my colon . I’m expecting things to slow & get bunged up and wondered if you needed to request

Any suggestions on how to help a 4 year old use the toilet in school, when he refuses to if he is not with his parents ?
So when he is
at
home
with us he never has
accidents
, and often when he is with us out and about he 70% of the time won’t have accidents and will use the potty / go on a tree / or use a toilet.

Pelvic discomfort
Does anyone feel pressure sometimes in their left side of pelvic area? Not sure if it’s ibs playing up or ovary/endometriosis. Started after I had a bout of diarrhoea at the weekend. Only a one off episode. Obviously these things make me anxious and think I over think it all.

Implant improves Balance, Movement and Quality of Life to people with Inner Ear Disorder
Getting around without the need to concentrate on every step is something most of us can take for granted because our inner ears drive reflexes that make maintaining balance automatic. However, for about 1.8 million adults worldwide with bilateral vestibular hypofunction (BVH) — loss of the inner ears

Accidents at school
My 4 year old recently started school and has been having 1 or 2 accidents most days though he did have one day this week with no accidents. At the end of the summer we disimpacted and then settled on a maintenance dose of 2 sachets of movicol and I don’t think he is constipated any more - we are no

When to increase dosage of Carbidopa/Levodopa
Husband had an appointment with his neurologist a few weeks ago. Hubby does not have tremors and dr. stated he couldn't tell if hubby was getting any worse. Also asked him if he was depressed and he responded no. Neurologist said well you can up your dosage of Carbidopa/Levodopa - do you want to do

Scar revision surgery
What’s the best treatment for a lateral abdomen scar. I am thinking of having scar revision surgery for a lateral abdomen scar post emergency splenectomy. I’m told the scar is “pretty neat” but as a young Indian female. It is extremely difficult to overcome, give the transition dress shows the midriff

Pred causing thin skin. Bleeding gums?
I have been on Pred for PMR for more than 2 years, now reduced to 2mg. For about the same length of time I have suffered with very thin skin which bruises or bleeds very easily, e.g from a rose thorn. For about the same period, my dentist and hygienist have commented on my bleeding gums. These are

Surgical sperm retrieval recovery
Hi, My husband had SSR last week where they had to make an incision into both testicles. He’s still in pain but the clinic said yesterday that it’s quite normal and to monitor over the next week. Today we noticed on one side there is a lump under the stitches and the testicle on that side isn’t dropping
