Finally got my foot looked at....
Think it is a soft tissue injury. I've been prescribed a week course of strong anti inflammatory tablets and being referred for a scan. Advised to rest it for now and see how the pills work so I guess I'll have to do that š

Hopefully when I am done my champix the cigarette smoke will still smell awful.
My friend arrived from England yesterday. She is staying with us for two weeks and she is a smoker. This is the first time I have been around a smoker since I started the champix. She is an outside smoker. The smell is awful. I have to walk away because I feel like I want to throw up. As a smoker you

Help with Sodium Pico sulphate and movicol to help with soiling
Iām looking for some help. My daughter (will be 5 in September)followed a disimpaction regime about 6/7 weeks ago. This was her first disimpaction. It worked well and has lessened her soiling greatly but we are now in a cycle of 5/6 days with no accidents and then about 4 days running of constant accidents

Shoulder pain on buserelin
Hi all, I have been on Buserelin for 23 days, and stimming on Menopur for 4 days. For the past week and a half I have had severe shoulder and neck pain radiating to my arm, which is worse overnight when trying to sleep and in the morning. Nothing is really helping. Is this a side effect of buserelin

Couch to 5K after spinal injury
I broke my back and sustained a spinal injury in 2013 and although I managed to learn to walk again, I have nerve damage in both legs. Running wasn't really on the agenda, but in an effort to get fit again I gave Couch to 5K a go and I could do it! It's not pretty, but I have been able to get to week

IBS-D Any suggestions other than Imodium?
Hi there. I have suffered from IBS-D for a few years and manage it as best I can with Imodium. If I am going out for the day or for long periods of time, I take Imodium as preventative measures, just in case I get taken short. Many of these occasions I probably don't need to take Imodium, but psychologically

Urinary catheter, condom catheter
Anyone using an external urinary catheter for incontinence. If so, do you get your penis erect, or semi erect, when you put it on?

Unable to reduce Pred. Any ideas?
I'm having real difficulty reducing my Pred dosage below 8mg. Any ideas? I started with PMR in December 2017 after a cycling accident, though it wasn't diagnosed for 3 months. I started on 25mg of pred and got down to 12.5mg without problem. But from that point on it's been extremely difficult to

Hospice-ask your doctor and look into it.
Our neurologist recommended hospice for my husband in dec 2018. My father was dying and put off until now. We met, he was approved and I canāt tell you how helpful after one visit -all within an hour and a half. His lift recliner had broken, we got a new one this afternoon. He will get a hospital bed

nerve cells work mechanically rather than chemically

Hi, for years I was on 10 mg of chloripramine, which suited me . Then 4 years ago, I went up to 20mg after some stress. Itās been fine. Then I was feeling so much better earlier this year, I started occasionally taking 10 mg again. Then I was told they donāt make 10mg anymore, the lowest dose is 25mg
