It is difficult for anyone to advise as you have not provided the ranges .Labs differ in their machines and ranges. With that proviso I will have a brief go at part. It looks like you have Hashimotos or auto immune thyroiditis as GPs prefer to call it. Your TSH suggests your thyroid is struggling .In some parts of the world treatment begins if over 3 but in the UK you will ve lucky to be treated below 10. Based on the antibodies you may be able to get a trial on levothyroxine.

The other thing I note particularly is the very low B12. I think you need to look up Seaside Susies responses to folk with similar results for B12, folate etc. You may also need advice from the pa forum.

so you definitely have hashimoto's - high TPO antibodies

So see my reply to your previous post about gluten, low stomach acid etc

But without ranges for the rest we can't tell much

TSH is too high, so you need dose increase

If your B12 is really just 82 then you need full investigation urgently for Pernicious Anaemia

Make an urgent appointment with GP to discuss and make sure to come away with actual results and ranges for

TSH

FT4

FT3

Vitamin D

B12

Folate

Ferritn

see this reply by SeasideSusie to another with low levels

Trying to make An appointment is almost impossible I have to wait until next Monday. I'm going to take cytoplan super b vitamins until then. I take fosodopholis for my gut. Just wondered if you think I need t3 supplements ? Do you know anyone who buys them of the Internet and their findings ?

Essential to get vitamin levels correct FIRST

Plus gluten if it’s an issue

Plus Levo dose high enough for TSH to come down to around one

Popsta From your previous thread

I have been diagnosed about 18 months ago just stuck me on LEVO with no explanation as to what or why I have this.

With these results:

TSH 4.41 (0.27-4.2)

free thyroxine 17.3

(no range given)

Thyroid antibodies

Free T3 3.3

(3.1-6.8)

You are undermedicated. What dose of Levo are you on?

**

Thyroglobulin Antibody 208.1 (0-115)

Thyroid Peroxidase Anitbodies 89.0 (0-34)

Confirms Hashi's, dealt with in previous thread healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

**

Active B12 82 (25.1-165.0)

In range but I have no idea if it is good. I can only interpret Serum B12.

**

Vit D 93 (50-200)

Almost at the level recommended by the Vit D Council which is 100-150nmol/L.

As you have mentioned bone and muscle aches in your previous post, and now that it is winter, I would be taking some D3 for the next few months eg 2000 or 3000iu daily. As you have Hashi's, an oral spray would be best for better absorption, eg BetterYou. Retest in the March/April with a fingerprick bloodspot test from City Assays vitamindtest.org.uk/

There are important cofactors needed when taking D3

vitamindcouncil.org/about-v...

D3 aids absorption of calcium from food and K2-MK7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it is needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be deposited and cause problems.

D3 and K2 are fat soluble so should be taken with the fattiest meal of the day, D3 four hours away from thyroid meds.

Magnesium helps D3 to work and comes in different forms, check to see which would suit you best and as it's calming it's best taken in the evening, four hours away from thyroid meds

naturalnews.com/046401_magn...

Check out the other cofactors too.

BetterYou do D3 oral spray, also they do D3/K2-MK7 combined if you prefer that.

**

I can't see a Ferritin result. It's essential that ferritin is at least 70 for thyroid hormone to work, recommended is half way through it's range.
