Good morning, After years of hormone therapy and low
testosterone
, my bloodwork from Thursday shows an increase of
testosterone
. My chart shows it’s been less that 7 for a number of years, now it’s listed as 8. Does this mean that the Xtandi/Eligard is not working anymore?

Did you do any blood tests prior to starting to check
testosterone
levels, did you get it via NHS and how easy is it and what are the benefits/ side effects if any?

Testosterone range
Hello I am male and had a
testosterone
blood test recently. The result was 21.3, but it came with no indication as to the range. I am simply told it is "normal". Can anybody help?

Has anyone had their
testosterone
tested before starting DHEA? My GP kindly tested mine and it's 0.4nmol/l. The lovely Google tells me this is low for fertility so I would probably benefit from DHEA after all. I was concerned about taking too much on the 75mg dose.

Low baseline testosterone and link to overall survival in advanced prostate cancer.
My husband’s baseline
testosterone
levels came back at 202. Is there a correlation between low baseline
testosterone
and overall survival after treatment for advanced prostate cancer? There seem to be inconclusive studies and often opposite results on the topic.

Brain Fog and ADT
But some more powerful attempts to lower
testosterone
might bring the T nearer to zero. By eating foods that increase
testosterone
, let's say we can bring our T up a bit to the 20-50 range.

Testosterone after ADT?
My pre-ADT
testosterone
was 620. Now, after four months of ADT (and radiation), it's 9. My ADT prison sentence ends September 31 (Orgovyxx). A couple guys at my gym have offered to hook me up starting in November to get my T back up quickly.

optimal testosterone level?
My husband had his
testosterone
tested. His levels are 13.6 nmol/l (8.6 - 29.0) Doctors have said it’s fine and no action needed but I know that normal doesn’t always mean optimal. Can anyone offer me any insight please? Thanks

This analogy vividly illustrates how
testosterone
can fuel the growth of prostate cancer cells, emphasizing the importance of hormone therapy in managing the disease.

Testosterone is increasing? Should I be worried?
Until this month, the reference range for total
testosterone
was 1.93 - 7.40 ug/L, and his result was 0.126 ug/L. This month, the lab's reference value format changed. The
testosterone
reference range is now 150-684 ng/mL, and his result was 10.17 ng/mL.
