Looking for a little advice...
Hey guys I’m 23 from New Zealand and looking for advice I suppose...I haven’t been diagnosed with anything as of yet but all symptoms point to endo. I get extremely heavy periods for 3+ weeks at a time until I take mefnamic acid pills to stop it as at that point I am drained, exhausted and can’t deal

Tramadol and fatigue.
I have been taking tramadol for pain. I have severe scoliosis and LUPUS. Has any one else experienced extra fatigue with Tramadol?

Doctor refused morphine and laughed at me!
So I have been in constant extreme pain for a month now since my surgery and diagnosis - also had mirena fitted. I have been taking max doses of codeine, tramadol and paracetamol. I tried gabapentin without effect. Whenever I take any NSAID medications like ibuprofen, naproxen I get worse cramps and

Waking up
Hi. I need some help to wake up in the morning. I can fall asleep easily and quickly sometimes to quickly and spill my cup of tea I am drinking But in the mornings I have real problems with waking up. I know that it is probably the after effects of the drugs that I am on which are numerous but the main

"Don't be silly, it can't be that bad"
Sorry if its a bit of a rant. So im a 24 year old single mum to a 4 year old and I am in my last year of studying nursing, because of financial reasons me and my daughter live with my parents so I can afford to get a career. I have had "IBS" since I was 11 but had a lap surgery last month confirming

Medication reaction?
Does anyone notice an increase in jerking/tremors when they take certain medications? For me, if i take Tramadol and/or Neurontin (for disk issues in my neck/low back), i see a sharp increase in uncontrolled jerking episodes. About 4 weeks ago, I stopped taking those meds daily and have only taken the

Back Muscle Spasm
Hi I’ve recently experienced the agony of one of my back muscles going into spasm. It was so bad that we had to call a GP out, who prescribed me diazepam which has helped significantly. I already take Tramadol, Naproxen and Pregabalin for past back issues. Although I’m no longer in agony, thank God

Pain killer advice
I am currently taking co codamol 30/500 and naproxen, these are my everyday meds, the problem is I think I need something when the pain gets unbearable, the doctor keeps suggesting tramadol but I’m worried this will be too strong, is anyone on tramadol or something similar that helps? That’s obviously

Urgent help if poss
Hi guys, I have stage 4 endo and currently have a bleeding cyst caused by car crash I had about a month ago, my back pain is also horrendous. I’ve been told that because my cyst is about 9cm big (typically between 2-4cm apparently, so my cyst is really big) it’s going to twist on me, I’ve read that

Sleep....and Pain
I am sure many people are in the same boat here but I'm having a seeming severe peak in pain on an ongoing basis (several months now) and it doesn't matter how much I sleep I cannot get any rest from it, if that makes sense. I approached my GP and got a 'can't do any more' answer and just had a failed

Neck Pain
Hi Everyone. I have had excruciating neck and shoulder pain over the last week. I had an xray at the hospital ( I am on holiday in Lanzarote) which showed osteopenia which I knew I had but up to now had not bothered me. I am now on tramadol which makes the pain bearable. My question is would an xray

Doctor says he wont prescribe any drugs pain clinic advise.
So after 5 years of suffering in pain and countless doctor and a&e appointments while being on codeine, paracetamol, tramadol, gabapentin, naproxen, buscopan every day at maximum doses he has finally agreed to refer me to a pain clinc since I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, before I got the diagnosis

Was told I'd have to wait 6 - 8 weeks for a decision, but it's taken just 4 weeks arriving in this morning's post. I did not think Nov 30th's reassessment went very well at all. In fact I was downright pessimistic about getting a favourable decision. Pleased to say how wrong I was. Not only did

Tales of a stage 4+ endo warrior
Hello Endo Warriors I wanted to share my story as so many of you have given me the courage to do so. I've always had painful debilitating periods, the usual over the counter and prescribed pain relief and 'IBS' treatments didn't work. Luckily in 2003 on an overseas trip I discovered the magical powers

Controlled medication on Holiday (Mexico)
Has anyone had to take painkiller on holiday. I am going to Mexico in April and have recently seen the news article about the lady that took tramadol to egyupt so thought I would check the Mexico law. It states that you need a doctors letter or prescription and that you can still be arrested with these

How my head trouble started
Hi my name's Caroline and I live in west Yorkshire. Ten years ago I was out shipping and I walked past a high street shop which sells smellies. As I got past I sneezed and was unable to see. The pain was so bad I hit the floor, somehow I dragged myself up, I just knew something was wrong. Somehow I got
