Desperate for sleep. Cannabis?
Ropinerole and Gabapentin haven't worked for me. My body has become tolerant of Codeine and Tramadol for the time being so I need to have a long holiday from them to reset my receptors. The torture of extreme sleep deprivation is driving me to consider illegal cannabis as an edible. If anyone on here

However the pain in my pelvis and back is beyond imaginable and I'm not sure if this is normal as I know it makes

Excruciating Lower Left Pelvis Pain
Lately I’ve been experiencing unbearable pain in my lower left pelvis. It got so bad last month that I had to rush to the emergency room to get injected with tramadol because oral mefenamic acid was not working. I’ve had 2 surgeries already. First one, partial removal of both ovaries (the diseased parts

Is Tramadol anti inflammatory??
I am wondering if I am making tapering more difficult for myself as I am trying to reduce the amount of tramadol I take for my back fractures as they heal, now 4 months in. This idea came to me after a discussion about the old dog's arthritis when one of the vets told my son and his wife that tramadol

Nasty Lyrica (update)
I posted about my Pregabalin nightmare in May. My RLS suddenly took a brutal turn with savage convulsions and all-over electric sensations. I had intrusive self destructive impulses. I cut Pregabalin quickly over 10 days, anxious because I was going on a long-haul holiday with 10 hour flights. The convulsions

Catheter help
Some advice pretty please I’ve had a indwelling catheter in for two weeks. Had it swapped yesterday for a 3 month catheter and I’m in the most horrendous pain. Can’t remember the first one being this bad. It’s so painful even with anaesthetic gel and tramadol! To the point I cry when I move. Is this

Back issues following lumbar punctures
On the 1st Feb I was admitted to hospital and after a number of lumbar punctures was diagnosed with actue meningitis. My first lumbar puncture needed to be repeated as I was already on antibiotics which effected the cultures. During my second lumbar puncture the doctor attempted three times but failed

Could burning shoulders be something other than GCA PMR?
Stuck on 9mg prednisolone after 3 and a bit years. Azathioprine as steroid sparer. Rheumatologist always say shoulder pain is not the disease, has sent me for ultrasound, x ray and physiotherapy all of which rule out osteoarthritis. I am also taking pregabalin and full dose of tramadol for back pain,

Amitriptyline for Fibromyalgia
After several months of slowly lowering my dosages of Gabapentin, Tramadol and Duloxetine I have been put on Amitriptyline. However, I am really not coping with it (started on 10mg and upto 20mg to date). My pain is really bad - but this has been the way all year, probably longer. I'm not sleeping
