Five month update

It's been 5 months since I started FECO (full spectrum cannabis oil). Since it's been a while since I've posted, I'll recap: my RLS was very severe. It affected me 24 hours a day. Unrelenting. I live in Mexico and tramadol is OTC here and i had to monitor my usage careful not to exceed 2000 mgs/24 hours. My RLS is not 100% gone. More like 98%. I've had a few days that I had to take a half dose of my levo/carbid. All told, over the 5 month period, I may have taken 4-5 half doses. Yes, it is high in THC but my body has adjusted to it and I no longer get a buzz. I have my life back.

Wonderful news.

Can you tell us the specifics of the oil? There are so many varieties to choose from, with such different profiles of cannabiboids and other healing chemicals.

It's the THC that is the magical ingredient. The tincture I take, (made here, in Mexico, where it is legal) varies between 33.3% THC and 46+% THC. It really is impossible to pin down the exact percentage because the THC content of the plant varies between plants. I suppose if you had a big enough production facility, you could mix, match and then titer the tincture, but the producers I get my oil from aren't that big. If you aren't used to the effects of THC (I was) start low and then adjust from there. I take 1 cc. My husband (who now sleeps an unheard of for him 7-8 hours) takes 5 drops. After 2 months he realized that the nagging pain in his hip had vanished The body will ajust to the effects and if youtake it before bed, then so what The results are cumulative. When you reach the dose that is effective for you, then hold steady There is no augmentation Although I felt relief immediately, most do not. Just keep at it (as a side note, I also have painful neuropathy in my hands. Last month, a friend asked how my hands were doing and it wasn't until I thought about it that I realized my left hand didn't hurt anymore). There needs to be more research into this magical plant. Big pharma doesn't like it because you can't patent a weed. The FDA approved an artificial THC for epilepsy but they won't OK Mother Nature's.

That is very interesting and heartening.

Of course pharma does not want us to heal ourselves - but did you know that the US government has a patent on either the plant as a whole or THC (I cannot remember which)? They took out the patent at the same time as they started the whole 'Marijuana will turn you into a raving loony' nonsense. Makes you think, no?

You can't patent a plant. You can patent a variety or a GMO plant. Perhaps it is the synthetic THC that has a patent, but that would belong to the pharmaceutical company, not Big Bro. But the raving looney nonsense (love that) started in the 20's. I wonder how long synthetic THC has been around? Of course, it wasn't until recently that they found THC has benefits (synthetic or otherwise) for epilepsy. I remember reading in the 60's that the US Army found that marijuana was useful in treating heatstroke and glaucoma. But the powers-that-be clamped down so hard on marijuana that researchers have great difficulty obtaining samples to study. The best research is coming out of Israel. It really is good medicine but so many are afraid of it because of propaganda.

There are about 535 members of Congress in Washington. There are about 1,300 Pharma lobbyists in Washington. 'We the people' does not have a snowball's chance in hell.

Now that is loony.

This child had heart surgery when she was 6 months old. Her lung exploded (might be a problem with translation) and her brain was damaged from lack of oxygen. She is now 11 and has been in a persistent vegetative state since then. She is being treated by a Doctor of Homeopathy from Canada. If THC can do this, RLS is small potatoes.

<< Aug. 18/19, some progress and great news. Normally she is held like a baby.

For the first time ever Hadarah was able to sit up - by herself! Today at church, she was with the little kids, babies to 3 yrs. sitting up, and experiencing all that was going on, and she was happy, and wanted to join in, but she is still unable to move.

During the week she called out to Mama from another room, indicating she wanted attention. Another first.

Her speech motor mechanism is trying to connect to the speech area of the brain, as it has been disconnected since she was 6 months old. She is now 10.

She will need physio therapy to learn to use her twisted limbs, and a speech therapist, to learn to form her words, the words themselves, and speak.

- Today, the drops will be increased again by 1, which means it is now 9 x 3 times a day.

To see her sitting there on her Mom’s lap, brought a mixture of true excitement, and tears to my eyes.

I am so blessed that God is using me to help and try to heal this lovely child...>>

I have had great success using Full Spectrum Hemp CBD oil from Functional Remedies ( available on line) for insomnia related to RLS. I need to take 3x the recommended “serving” i.e. total 3 dropperfuls. I have tried other Hemp CBD oils and found them useless. Hemp CBD oil is legal in all 50 states in the US. Now I no longer need a “sleeping pill” for sleep. I do take a small dose of an opioid for the restlessness.

Hemp really is pretty useless. Lots of hype, though. But, like cannabis, little hard research.

I did not find that to be true of this brand. I have also used Full Spectrum Cannabis CBD oil which I bought in a State where it is legal. I use them interchangeably. I’ve also used Full Spectrum Cannibis CBD oil with higher concentrations of THC and find that I don’t sleep as well with increased THC. I think everyone has to find the right combination for their own body. Again, I’m using a small dose of Percocet for the restlessness. The CBD is for improved sleep.
