Confused
I've recently been diagnosed with fybromyalgia had symptoms for 4 years. I am very confused by people's reaction. I've been told it's all in the head. It's made up like m.e. It's just being lazy. It can't be seen on blood test or xray. Saw doctor recently as I am in so much pain and I am already on

PIP results for severe back PAIN
Hi. I have had a f2f PIP assessment for my lower back pain and have the results to share. I've had my lower back pain for 2 years, the MRI is clear and it's been suggested by a physiotherapist I had to see that my pain is caused by overloaded facet joints. Whatever the case, I require large amounts of

Hi I have been on Hydroxychloroquine for a few weeks now and have noticed big bruises on my legs, I don’t recall knocking them at all, is this a side effect anybody else is suffering from ? I am also on Leflunomide, Tramadol and Pregablin but I have been taking Tramadol and Pregablin for about 4 years

RLS back again
About 4 months ago I began to take iron tabs (prescribed) and at the same time I stopped drinking alcohol altogether. I was overjoyed because my really severe RLS seemed so much better that I could actually watch T.V without constantly getting up and also I was able to get some sleep. The RLS didn

Pain after laparoscopy
I had my first laparoscopy 9 days ago for excision surgery of deep infiltrating endometriosis. Luckily it wasn’t too extensive but they told me they couldn’t get it all as it has infiltrated deeply into my womb. I had a deep adhesion attaching my womb to my bowel and some smaller patches on my ovary.

Ongoing pain
Every time I have my period the pain is just unbearable. To make matters worse my uncomfortable bowel movements are releasing yellow runny stools. Running the loo every 5 minutes because the medication isn’t settling I might throw up this tramadol. Can’t go hospital because I’m constantly going the toilet

Nefopam sweats?
Hi there, I'm new here & would appreciate some feedback on Nefopam please. About 2 months ago (approx) I detoxed from Tramadol 200mg slow release tablets which I was taking twice per day. My GP transferred me onto Nefopam 30mg (90mg 3 times per day). I have to say, I feel grim! My pain has returned in

Pain 10 years after a spinal fusion L5/S1
Hi All, Has anyone suffered an overwhelming increase in back pain following a spinal fusion? I had mine 10 years ago now and although not 100%....had been doing alright in my retirement. I had been a nurse for 40 years and although I tried couldn’t return to work comfortably, so decided to take early

Desperate for sleep. Cannabis?
Ropinerole and Gabapentin haven't worked for me. My body has become tolerant of Codeine and Tramadol for the time being so I need to have a long holiday from them to reset my receptors. The torture of extreme sleep deprivation is driving me to consider illegal cannabis as an edible. If anyone on here

Excruciating Lower Left Pelvis Pain
Lately I’ve been experiencing unbearable pain in my lower left pelvis. It got so bad last month that I had to rush to the emergency room to get injected with tramadol because oral mefenamic acid was not working. I’ve had 2 surgeries already. First one, partial removal of both ovaries (the diseased parts

Is Tramadol anti inflammatory??
I am wondering if I am making tapering more difficult for myself as I am trying to reduce the amount of tramadol I take for my back fractures as they heal, now 4 months in. This idea came to me after a discussion about the old dog's arthritis when one of the vets told my son and his wife that tramadol
