Tramadol and Nefopam
I’m awaiting a PKR and MRI results on the other; I am in agony! Been on Tramadol for 2 years but pain got worse so GP prescribed Nefopam for when especially severe. Has anyone been prescribed Tramadol and Nefopam together? When I requested more a different GP told me I should never have been prescribed

Pregabalin. Is the approach I am taking dangerous in any way?
Recap - Been suffering severe RLS for over two years since stopping pregabalin very abruptly in February 2020 (which I regret) for anxiety. Prior to that had adverse reaction to Lorazepam (January 2020). Was also on Mitazipine (stopped May 2020) and Venaflaxine ( stopped July 2021) at the time. Prescribed

Can a soft tissue injury exacerbate PMR symptoms?
Seeking a bit of guidance from you lovely people - I injured my left tricep on Monday afternoon and went to A&E on Tuesday as the pain was unbearable. No bones broken and the tendons are intact. It’s my left shoulder that has PMR. The pain in my neck, shoulder and upper arm on my left side is so excruciating

RLS mum on 6mg of Ropinorole
I have had mild to moderate RLS for 25+ years but so far have self managed to avoid meds. My mum of 85 yrs is a severe sufferer and has thought her life tried most conventional medications & alternative therapies, ending up in recent (last 7/8 years) on a combination of ropinorole, tramadol, oramorph

I need the rest
You sound exactly like a mirror of myself. I agree, the augmentation and withdrawal are horrible. I take Gabapentin, 600 mg. about 7 p.m. and 900 mg. at 9 p.m. About 8:30 I take 100 mg. Tramadol. I am weaning off my last .5 mg. Ropinirole and usually take that at 7:15 p.m. I had about 1 week of beautiful

Does withdrawal always have to be this bad?
I have been reading lots of stories on here regarding withdrawal and you must all be so very strong to have gone through it. I am wobbling at the moment because I can't get any help other than this forum. I am weaning off Roprinorole and now down to .75mg and due to reduce to .50mg next week (as advised

Pacemaker Pain
Hi, is anyone in so much pain with their pacemaker that they are constantly on tramadol? Is that normal? My daughter had her pacemaker replaced over a year ago, and is in constant pain. It was placed into a muscle between her neck/shoulder and she is in constant pain, with limited arm movement. Her

I'M CURED
I had a hospital appointment to see a “Rheumatologist” (ST4 trainee I believe) at the beginning of last month and received the results today. Great news, my PMR is in remission as my CRP and ESR are normal (apparently they have been since 2019), just a shame no one told my body. I started on 20mg Prednisolone

I will eventually finish my tramadol, which I dread. I have some over the counter Boots codeine and paracetamol. How much should I take when the dreaded leg starts

WFPB Diet
I started following a gluten free wholefood plant based diet without any oil sugar and very low salt back at the start of May this year. I still feel I have more work to do repairing my body but I have so far lost 2stones 10ibs in weight, stopped taking tramadol that I was on for pain management and

Withdrawal
How long does this withdrawal from mirapexin last. It's almost 2 weeks and I'm on 300mg and then 600mg gabapentin. I still have to take tramadol and Kratom to sleep. Should I increase the gabapentin to 600 and 600. I just hope gabapentin will work for me. The doctor won't prescribe more tramadol and

RLS savvy doctor in Western Canada?
I have been taking Pramipexole for thirty years. Wen I first visited this web site I was taking 6mg per day. The doctor who prescribed that has retired. His first replacement doctor prescribed 150 mg tramadol to help me cut down and with his support I have managed to reduce the pramipexole dose by half
