🌸 February Quest Week 1 : Put a spring in your step! 🌸
I’m also going to try and add in a weekly
yoga
session now my wrists can (hopefully!) manage it. So how are things going for you? What will your quest be? For any newbies, here’s what it’s all about: [u]What is the Quest?

Minor Calf Strains (Pulled Calf)
☆ Wear flexible walking boots ☆ Know your walking limits ☆ Do
yoga
/ Pilates / Tibetan Rites daily for that all-body stretch ☆ Use a roller or massage gun to smooth out those knots ☆ Consider including jeffing if you need to be gentle with your calves whilst running ☆ Adapt slowly when transferring

anxiety is getting the best of me
I try to have a positive mindset, I do
yoga
, meditation, exercise when I’m able, challenge my thoughts, do counseling, I am strong in my faith and pray daily. I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG. I had to leave work today and now I’m laying in bed with crippling anxiety.

Tibetan Rites Challenge - Day 1/7
They’re like a micro-
Yoga
session that attends to most, if not all parts of the body. So I’ve kept myself from doing them until this challenge. Today, we will focus on getting all the poses right and play around with posture and moderation of movements.

Happy Days
Then a
Yoga
session. Resistmas band exercise. And then another 40 min session on my rower. Who would have thought a few years ago that my perfect relaxing annual leave day was a day full of mindful and strengthening outdoor and indoor workouts.

Exercise at the bottom of the scale.
Swimming,
yoga
class, anything that involves getting there first. And back. Don’t ignore that bit.

James Dunne Calf Workout
Having said this, a short
Yoga
session is still planned for every day, as is a little, but very gentle rowing workout daily. As I’m not getting out there on my jogging routes at the moment, all this should keep my fitness and muscles up and running.

MS at 55, why me?
I am exercising 4 days a week to try to keep my strength up and doing
yoga
for my flexibility. I have lost 10 lbs intentionally since my diagnosis and stopped drinking alcohol except for a once-a-week date night with my husband (a couple of glasses of wine).

Magic plan week 3 run 1 x NRC “A New Run”
After a pain free walk home and a pain free cool down stretch using
Yoga
with Adriene on YouTube, it was time for some celebration. I’d definitely recommend this run for a chilled out, thought provoking run. Dress more appropriately than me though!

Constant UTI symptoms
I've tried all sorts of things to help; drinking loads, drinking Cranberry juice, using a
yoga
ball to release pressure, no baths, belly massages. I'm now 33 weeks and it seems to be getting worse as the baby moves more. Has anyone experienced this too? Any help or recommendations?

Learning to live with PMR
By this time my arms and shoulders were seizing up and my whole body couldn't do what it used to (walking uphill, running,
yoga
, gym, cleaning the shower, picking things off the floor!) Around the same time, some dental treatment requiring 2 days of steroids resulted in an immediate 'cure'.

A quieter week this week!
Yoga
in half an hour so some deep stretches should help. I hope everyone is ok and not letting economic worries get them down too much.

Avioding Coming a cropper when we are trying to regain a level of fitness
My problems started with the
yoga
. Trying to keep up with my supple neighbour who has 15 years on me. Yep you guessed it, I ripped/stretched muscles in back and hips that had shortened and tightened up when inactive - so be very careful how you proceed.

Snail Trail...getting longer...
My breathing was deep and relaxed and easy... my legs, benefiting from daily
yoga
and my daily routine., ( tweaked a little, until I get even stronger). felt strong and steady. I know some days feel better than others, and yesterday was a good day. I slept well and today felt good too !

Alternative Therapy
Hi, I have tried everything to manage my anxiety (therapy, meds,
yoga
etc) and nothing works. The pattern of negative thoughts and always being worried of worst case scenarios followed by the racing thoughts to solve/talk myself off the ledge is so tiring.
