Eating at 2am? Before work
Hello My name is Alex and I'm on a
weight
loss
journey. For the last 2 years I have worked every other day early shifts and I would get up at 2am. Then Every other day to that would be a normal 7am wake up. Example M. 7AM T. 2AM. W 7AM. T 2AM. F. 7am. Sat 2am.

Cheese sauce with Guar Gum
I’ve tried a few low carb cheese sauce recipes, especially a few months ago when lots of people on the
weight
loss
forum were making moussaka. IMO the one I made yesterday evening is the best, in that it very closely resembles a cheese sauce made with a classic wheat flour roux.

Diet....
So, if I cave in one evening and have a pizza or Chinese takeaway is that going to pose an immediate danger, or is it similar to a
weight
loss
diet in that it can be ‘made up for’? Does this make sense?....

Blood results after adding T3 to T4 - some symptoms nearly gone, some remain, some are new!
Weight
is generally static - no
weight
loss
though. Symptoms which have not gone: •I am much more constipated than I was before adding T3. This is new. •Still get bloated and have little appetite in the evening. Appetite has reduced on T3.

Hypothyroidism but weight loss and high cholesterol
In my case I have hypothyroidism but I struggle to gain weight, I’ve always generally been a small built person but one of the typical symptoms of hypothyroidism is weight gain and I haven’t put on any
weight
.

Weight loss advice, I’ve stalled a bit
But my
weight
loss
is stalling a bit I’ve lost 1 stone so far which I’m so happy with but want to lose more. Any advice on what else to do to kick start it again exercise wise I normally do mix of cardio and weights when I go to the gym (three times a week)

Lercanidipine and losing weight
However, 4 weeks ago I started a
weight
loss
regime & ive genuinely been strict- hardly any alcohol, low carb and cut portion size in half. I’ve even been sure to continue at the weekend. Initially I lost 2 pounds but for the last 2 weeks I’ve lost nothing 😩.

Stopping meds
I wanted to see what the effects might be. How soon does the body deteriorate after stopping L-Dopa? I stopped Rytary 9 days ago. I've had two mild bouts of dizziness. And as can be seen on this shopping list my hand writing has gone from bad to worse. I wondered if there might be withdrawal

Staying on the Path
I am skinny so I don't worry about that number but I am slowly dropping more
weight
. Any
loss
is a success. Seeing my blood work number for GFR climbing is a motivator. Being in Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease and seeing improvement from diet helps me stay the path.

Is IF for me?
I know
weight
loss
can fluctuate and be slow but I was hoping and expecting it to be more than this, since I've been eating way better than before. Which has me thinking maybe I do have something that is making it difficult to lose weight?

Where to from here?
In late 2019 my wife (80yrs) had significant
weight
loss
and tremor. Was originally diagnosed with BET (Benign Essential Tremor). Some months later this was changed to Parkinson's. Prescribed levodopa with no effect on any symptoms, 3 months later diagnosis changed to possibly PSP.

Digestive disturbances
Weight
loss
(much needed) continues, but I have managed to slow it down. It seems strange after years of dieting, to eat what I want, when I want without consequences. (That doesn't mean a constant diet of cakes, chocolate and icecream!) Thank you for reading so far.
