I was just wondering if anyone wouldn’t mind sharing their experiences / stories with zoladex and weight gain / loss?
I’m on my 5th round of zoladex now and my weight has gone up rapidly in the past 5 months I have noticed - and it’s really getting me down. After doing a lot of research I’ve learnt this is very common when taking zoladex and people tend to lose the weight quickly after! Has anyone experienced anything like this / the opposite?
If anyone on zoladex could also let me know what happened in general when they had their last injection that would be great - my last one is next month and I’m so unsure as to what is going to happen after that, I really don’t want to be back to square one 😞

Hi ,I have been on and off zoladex and one other injection, can't remember the name but it was the one where they inject the pellet under the skin..each time I've gained weight. Think it increased my appetite. I was on it to reduce the endo each time and recently I was told to do it prior to trying to conceive as it increases my chances..Im 10 months in and still no baby. Now my endo is getting worse. I can feel tenderness in my pelvic area, feels hard and not soft as it used to be..I'm starting to get pains in my rectum again and general sharp pain in my pelvis when walking or even just getting up off the chair. It's difficult knowing it's getting worse by not taking treatment just now but wanting a baby so much. It's been 20 years of trying. When do you give up though? I had given up a few years ago then met a new partner and its all resurfaced again. My mental health is taking a battering just now.
I've not found it made any difference to my weight which has always been low due to my endometriosis affecting my bowel and digestion. However, I understand a lot of people do gain weight on it. xx
