When see weight loss with pred reduction?
I am tapering after a year on prednisone. I gained 20 pounds when I started on it. I am down to 7 1/2 mg. Did any of you have the pounds "melt off" when weaning? If so, when did you start to see the pounds go down?

A big thank you
No questions or moaning this time, my Endo has just agreed a T3 trial!!! I’m still trying to get through to him that my TSH is too high, quoting NICE and RMOC, but that’s another fight. Thank you all for the information and support, without you I would be a basket case!

I mentioned to the nurses that after getting a GP appointments ( a story in itself) I had been referred for a colonoscopy and CT scan due to change in bowel habits and
weight
loss
. The colonoscopy showed no further issues other than diverticulitis which I knew about anyway.

Coolness in feet, legs and one side of neck - Could it be nerve healing?
Before being diagnosed with pernicious anemia I started to have trouble bringing words to mind, tinnitus, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, unintentional
weight
loss
, more and more food sensitivities, fairly intense sensory sensitivity which would often end in crying episodes, decreased ability to handle stress

I intend to keep this workout and watch portions and calories (cutting sugar and carbs) to combat
weight
gain, bone density and muscle
loss
. Having the SpaceOAR and fiducials placed on Thursday, simulation workup following week and likely start SBRT after Thanksgiving.

ARK IVF clinic- Greece - Testing help & advice
Almost 5 years of TTC. 5 years of being denied IVF treatment on the NHS. 5 years of battling with
weight
loss
... It has been a rollercoaster. We have finally decided that we will be getting a loan out to pay for IVF abroad, and have found a clinic in Greece that seems to have good reviews.

Still not diagnosed
I have had terrible abdominal pains and/or diarrhea, nausea,
weight
loss
for the past couple of years, getting worse all the time. I seem to have to run to the bathroom almost every time I eat. I also urinate a ton, though my blood sugar is fairly normal.

When you loose fat, where does the fat go?
I’ve just come across a Ted talk called The mathematics of
weight
loss
by Ruben Meerman 2013 which explains what fat is. It certainly makes you think 🤔 about fat in a different way.

Newly diagnosed with NAFLD
I then started looking on the internet about NFALD and found out that my
weight
loss
was too fast. started eating more and paused workouts. I went to the ER due to right sided abdominal pain (worse in morning than night) ER doctor assured me my liver is ok, ALT of 68 and AST of 35.

Unintentional weight loss. Could usual dosage of levothyroxine now be too high?
I’m new here. Papillary thyroid cancer successfully treated in 2016 (at age 61) by thyroidectomy and radio active ablation. Have since taken levothyroxine at varying doses (100mg daily for last 2 years ). Normal weight has been pretty constant around 62 kilos (9st 10lbs) but since November last year
