Weight Loss
I am worried about how this will impact my ckd and she said she didn't know but would do some research and that I should talk to the
weight
loss
doc about it. I know I have to lose the
weight
, the pain from the bone on bone hip is horrible and getting worse.

Aps and topamax?
I recently saw a
weight
loss
dr to try to get some help getting some stubborn
weight
off and she prescribed me phentermine/topamax along with eating well and exercise. Things were going well until my legs and head started hurting a good bit.

Does this sound like Fibromyalgia?
Hello all, sorry for the long post but I am doing some health detective work! I have not been diagnosed with anything yet but have been having loads of tests for a weird combination of symptoms that don't add up. Recently the muscle issues have caused me to think this might be something like Fibromyalgia

Frustrated with Weight Loss (Especially with Belly Fat)
Getting friends, writing, and now
weight
loss
. The Navy Body Fat Calculator is telling me that I am 9% body fat but I don’t trust it. I am sorry if it comes off as me being disrespectful or delusional. But maybe I am 9% body fat but I don’t look like it.

MF progression??
I saw my haematologist on Thursday and she commented on my
weight
loss
, paleness and I definitely have more fatigue than a number of years ago. Is there a likelihood that as I have lived with ET for so long, there is a greater possibility / probability for it to progress...?

Fibro?
I have lost 5st in
weight
due to appetite
loss
, struggle with memory problems and staying focused or concentrating. Constant pain all over, but mostly back and neck, which may be from thr injury. I wake each day feeling exhausted and my joints feel stiff. The chronic fatigue is a killer.

No diagnosis yet but AMA+. Any advice?
My primary care physician (PCP) referred me to a liver doctor (hepatologist) after I experienced unintended
weight
loss
and had a history of having mildly elevated ALT and AST. The appointment was 4 months out. In the meantime I totally quit alcohol as it wasn't a big deal.

Stretching back to fitness!
I think both these excercise and the
loss
of 2 stone in
weight
have had a dramatic effect on the problem! So fingers crossed, as C25k comes to the end again I will continue with the running and get back also to doing more walking . May also be time to re do the James dunne 30 day challenge 🙂

Confused with Nephrologist advice
After many arguments, we agreed on 1 shake a day with very light meals, for 2 weeks, to kick start
weight
loss
. Home cooked chicken with beans, cauliflower and broccoli, or just a couple of boiled eggs. I have done the same, just not the shakes, as it's too expensive, on a pension.

Taper out T3-medication?
At this time I had developed insomnia and suffered from muscle and joint pain and even
loss
of muscle.
Weight
was the same as in the summer but could not lose any fat. No doctor helped me at all, until I contacted a functional practitioner who prescribed 50mcg T4.

Unlicensed thyroid meds on NHS?
I'm honestly getting close to the point where I just give up and accept that I'm going to die from lack of treatment (untreated for over a year now, TSH high, cold all the time,
weight
gain, hair
loss
, and it's impacting on both lipids and blood sugars).

No symptom relief from levothyroxine :(
GP asked if I was symptomatic and I was (feeling cold, extremely lethargic, hair
loss
and
weight
gain/maintaining weight on extremely low amount of calories) so decided to trial 3 month trial of levothyroxine 50mcg.

More on red light therapy versus SYMBYX?
Apologies if i've missed a post: I noticed a post about a year ago on red light therapy, I have used it for a few years now and although I can't be sure of its efficacy, friends say they see no or little decline in my symptoms. I recently noticed an Aussie company (my home territory) promoting SYMBYX

Weight Loss and Fatigue - Hba1c - 5.9
I am not sure what is causing this sudden
weight
loss
and fatigue. My Thyroid levels are also normal. I am under anxiety and most of the time unable to focus on day to day chores. Anyone had a similar experience. My thirst and urination had dropped down to some extent now.
