Hello everyone (anyone still awake) Jules here A strange one, I wondered if anyone has come across it themselves: The last day 2 days I have found I have been 'zoning' out for awhile, when I seem to be almost sleep walking doing things, then open my eyes and am wide awake. My husband this afternoon found

I saw on my blood results "occasional" anisocytosis, poikilocytosis, burr cells, ovalocytes and schistocytes. Is this normal for CLL or is this sign of progression?

My life is at a standstill
My anxiety seems to only be getting worse. I sweat profusely from my face and scalp when in uncomfortable situations. It gets so bad that people make comments, which just makes it worse. This makes me not want to leave the house because it's out of control. I stopped taking Adderall and Xanax prescribed

Hi I live in Ireland and have B12 Defiencey (diagnosed) for 7 year but probably had it for years undiagnosed. I can only get the injection every 12 weeks as my doctor will not allow it any earlier. I have stopped fighting with him as I get so annoyed about having to suffer the symptoms at about 9 weeks

ACCESS TO EXPENSIVE MS TREATMENTS
I am new to this site, so I would like to introduce myself. I am a retired lawyer with Relapsing MS. I was diagnosed 6 years ago. My current disease modifying therapy is Tecfidera, and it seems to be a good fit. I use Acthar Gel for relapses. My biggest concern is the expense of these medications

Denosumab and diffuse SSc
Hi I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has had/ or taking Denosumab, for bones, our GP has recommended that my partner who has diffuse SSc, should have this treatment after a DEXA scan. But obviously can't take it orally so looking into a once every six months infusion, any comments/advice

Sleep apnea test
Have PAF, 2 episodes in 7 mo, doc is just now asking that I get sleep apnea test. I understand sleep apnea can be a contributer to a fib but Im pretty sure I dont have it and dont want the expense of the test if its not really important. So asking for opinions. My spouse, who does have insomnia is awake

Apnea
I strongly recommend that all you PDers get tested for sleep apnea. In apnea, one stops breathing during sleep for a short time, thereby depriving the body of much needed oxygen.
