Cognitive Behavior Therapy
I'm new here, my name is Pat. Is there anyone out there who has tried with or without success cognitive behavior therapy? I am trying it as a last resort. Doing this on my own with a workbook. Suggestions, comments, help, advice. I am so tired of constant anxiety. Something has got to change. thank you

Are parabens in ThyroidS safe?
I've recently increased my ThyroidS because latest TSH results were 28.5. So I'm increasing from 1 to 2. However, I noticed fillers used in ThyroidS contain Methyl paraben and Propyl paraben https://stopthethyroidmadness.com/armour-vs-other-brands/ A recent study found that hypothyroid patients should

Port in chest for Provenge?
Hello all. I just returned from a visit with an oncologist to start the the ball rolling regarding Provenge treatment. Everything went well, insurance will cover it, my condition says it's time for it, etc. All of a sudden she dropped a bomb on me. She told me that I would have to get a port placed in

Echinacea??
Hi, I'm currently on enbrel and methotrexate. I have had constant colds this year due to poor immunity, and wondered if it's worth taking echinacea to boost it. Anyone tried this or have any other ideas? All advice would be greatly received. Paula🤧🤧

Putting a post ablation query out there for ideas
I have been on various different doses of tambocor since April 2015. I had my fourth cardioversion in August 2016 after a breakthrough on CR100mg (capsule, slow release) tambocor. After that cardioversion I went on to 100mg tablet (quick release) x2 daily. I remained in NSR until I had an ablation

Tongue biting
Hello there, can anyone give me suggestions to stop my partner from biting his tongue. After nearly 5 weeks, he finally has a trachy, before that, he was biting on the tube that went down his throat, his tongue was stuck out a little because of the tube. I have been told it is a habit, but wondered what

Duloxetine and tiredness
Hello lovely people! I've been taking Duloxetine for a few months and after the initial 2-3 weeks of side effects it seemed to dramatically decrease my fibro pain levels. However, recently I've become plagued to extreme tiredness so often that it's stopping getting anything done and is a concern for

This is for those of us who have sleep problems.

Just ended day 3 of Solumedrol
I hated to do it, but I've spent the last 3 days getting IV steroids from Home Health Care. The exacerbation hadn't gotten too bad yet, but it was spreading and the neuro wanted to nit it in the bud. The worst part of the steroids for me is the sleep disturbance. I've been up and down at night, sleeping

Honesty
Has anyone here dealt with drug dependency? I have....a few times. The first time I didn't relalize it. I had been taking Vicodin for migraines and then (unknown at the time) nerve and muscle pain for over 7years and developed an ulcer, so of course my dr discontinued the medication. I developed insomnia

CPAP machine
I knew with my weight gain I was a candidate for CPAP. Well I took the test and I shocked the nurse reading my report. Let's just say mine was severe sleep apnea. The only symptom I had was on occasion I would wake up gasping for air. Well, I have been on it now for a month and what a change. I am

RLS gets better with sleep
Thank you! Even though I've been intermittently bothered by RLS since I was a teen, I was always confused by its description as a sleep disorder. Mine would typically come on in the evening when I was sitting and getting sleepy and be relieved by going to bed. During the last year, some 60 years after

Sleep Problems
For the last couple years, I have been having some sleep problems, and I am curious if any of you have had something similar. I don't know if it's related to the depression or not. I am constantly exhausted, though not necessarily sleepy. I just always feel like I need to close my eyes and rest. When

Seroquel question
Hi all. I'm new here. This is my first post. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's over a year ago and am not on any medication. A few months ago I started having visual hallucinations. My doctor prescribed Seroquel. I can't quite follow the logic. Maybe I've got it all wrong, but if Seroquel is a dopamine
