I have PMR, Seronegative Poly Arthritis and now Poly Neuropathy. Because of severe pain my doctor has suggested I take Tramadol. I’ve read the side effects and they don’t sound pleasant!! Anyone had experience with this drug?

Rheumy visit today.
Learnt something new today at my appointment. I didn't know (or hadn't taken in) that as someone who is morbidly obese, I should not expect my CRP to get down to what is shown as normal levels. My CRP is at it's lowest in 3 years currently, I am feeling well, able to do more and down to 9mg. I am

Pain at 3months,doctor acts like I should be healed.
I'm at 3 mos, total knee replacement, I hurt. My doctor says I should be healed. The ibuprofen nor the tylenol works. I've been working out with a recumbent bike and treadmill. I feel better when I'm moving, after I sit,,,my knee is swollen red/blackish. I put ice on it, only thing that helps. Then

Cutaneous Vasculitis
Hi all Back in early 2015 I had the most awful rash and raised itchy lumps over the lower part of my legs. I went to my GP who suggested treating the whole family for Scabies. After many tests and appointments later and biopsies they confirmed Cutaneous Vasculitis. Back in 2018 from July to December

Job interview - dealing with embarrassing sweats
Hi everyone My tapering journey has been going well and the side effects of the steroids and the withdrawal on each reduction are becoming much less and bearable EXCEPT I suffer from red hot flushes to the face and terrible head sweats. I have noticed that these occur spontaneously but they are definitely

Antibiotics in RA
I have been prescribed Minocycline for three months to see if it will be helpful in reducing the swelling in my joints. If it does not help I may start anti tnf therapy. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had experience of this treatment. Fingers crossed for success I have tried many

My mum has painful arthritis and we are considering using CBD oil to manage it, leaving a 4 hour gap between medicine. Just wondering what people's experience has been ???

Pain relief
Waiting to start on my medication but wondering if anyone can recommended any medication/ointments/creams/herbal medication that eases the pain of psa. Even if it’s just to get some sleep. Thanks in advance.

I think I know why my rheumy is so dismissive of my arthritis, I have the wrong type. Apparently it is rheumatoid arthritis that goes with autoimmune issues and I have osteoarthritis. I am just "wear and tear" despite being ill for most of my life and probably having used my joints less than other healthy

Apology
Most of the folks on this forum have a wonderful, empathetic spirit that is quite comforting and makes me wish I could say things in such a way. Forgive me for being such a 'redneck' and blunt, and sometimes sarcastic person in words. I try to remember that sarcasm is like sulfuric acid to relationships

Week 3 so far so good
I’m on week 3 enjoying it so far. I am doing this to help lose weight and get fit. I have rheumatoid arthritis so need to build up my exercise slowly this app is helping me to do this. I’m so pleased as I always loved running.

swollen joints
A couple of the joints on my left hand have become quite swollen and painful, but how do I know whether it's boring old arthritis or an effect of the limited systemic scleroderma, which is my diagnosis? And does it matter??

Two Years Into Osteoarthritis
I started walking to relieve some of my “multiple site” osteoarthritis. Its Winter here in Wisconsin, so getting out there is hit and miss, depending on the road conditions. My docs at the VA wont prescribe anything for this condition except Ibuprofen. Ive read that ibuprofen breaks down the cartilage
