Can’t stand straight due to arthritis in low back
Had laminectomy mid 2016 followed by infection and use of WoundVac machine for 16 weeks. During this period of relative inactivity my back has become very stiff and I am very stooped over when walking. Family practice doctor only prescribed strong pain meds. Is there anything else to alleviate the stiffness

Prednisolone taper and arthritis flare
Ow, ow, ow! Feeling stupidly pleased at reduction to 7.5 then bam! osteoarthritic hip worse than ever. Waking me up at night when I try to turn over, barely hobbling this morning. Paracetamol not hitting it. Feeling exhausted and most sorry for myself. I think I’ve read that Pred can mask arthritis?

Update On Inflammatory Arthritis Scans
Hi warriors😁 Thanks to the people who responded to my recent post.. I finally had ultrasound scan on both hands and wrists yesterday. The sonographer was lovely bless her, she explained everything she saw on the screen and showed me the inflammation in many joints. I feel relieved as I now know it

Personality Change
I was diagnosed with Temporal Arthritis back in August last year and put on 60mg of Prednisolone and at this present time have tapered down to 10mg, since tapering down I feel as if I’m going through a personality change from being a positive happy person to the complete opposite has anyone else experience
